I have to agree! I really loved Barry's recordings....he was always my favorite. But idk after listening to some of these same lectures that Barry recorded on his channel when he was alive. Is it just me, or did he leave some passages out of the recordings he did. Because I know I have listened to many of the same lectures on his channel and there are clearly parts missing from his.

Anyone know what he means by 'states'? States of mind? Also, when he says to 'imagine a friend congratulating you', what if the only people you know would be pissed and jealous of your success? Do you imagine them that way?
It has nothing to do with others,it has everything to do with your own imagination,now as far as talking about your success or mentioning your plans to others, don't, Satan hears you and wants to ruin everything
State of “being” mind. Everything here is only a state of “being” the thing, u are not the state of being itself , only the occupant of the state of experience, if u know that u can move mentally/inwardly to a better state of mind/being. Like water is not coffee or juice, if u know how to extract the contents from water u will have pure water. So as the being we are we are NOT the state, we are only EXPERIENCING it.. we can extract our consciousness from the unwanted experiences when we have experienced pure TRUTH(freedom).
Their reaction doesn’t have to be positive, if the imaginal act IMPLIES that u got what u wanted, it works just the same. Even Neville said tht in another lecture. U don’t have to follow the example that Neville gives only the principle. So if u have an imaginal act that implies u are what u what to be & it’s suitable & good for u. Use it! Whether it’s jealousy or congratulations it still implies the obvious u ARE what u wanted to be. At the end of the day it’s what’s most natural & believable TO YOU!! So if u are more receptive of jealousy! Use it! Works just the same!
By 'states,' he refers to states of mind or consciousness, representing different realities or ways of being. When imagining a friend congratulating you, focus on the feeling of being celebrated, rather than who's doing it. If imagining current friends feels off, envision a supportive figure or even a future friend. The key is the feeling of success and acceptance, not the specific people.
If the people you know would be pissed about your success, assume they they are transformed by Christ to a higher state where you are all happy for each other. Leave the 'how' to the Lord and focus on the positive outcome for everyone.
Whenever you are convinced that it is done in you, leave it alone and wait by dwelling on the feeling of it being done. Give thanks!
