somehow this is my least fave song of theirs, cuz of the break into the chorus structure.. its so.. dunno. reminiscent of other lesser bands. s'ok 95% of the album is freakin stellar!
it's the one that's most similar to popular rock that has been overplayed before, you are correct. it is less unique, very reminiscent of the RHCP's syncopated drums-for-chorus structures, kinda overplayed (guess I lived too much in the 90s already).
+sizone Yeh dude, disagree, when that chorus comes in its such a mosh/jumpy feel, id imagine it would go down amazingly live, in contrast with that awesome trancey drum pattern in the verse, it works well. the verses are probably the best parts of the song though
