After listening to the whole album on repeat since release, this is one of my favorites that I keep coming back to. The message is powerful and beautifully written, but what really gets me is the sound - it's so driving and so much the quintessential Rise Against sound. This is one I'm very much hoping to hear you guys play live!
Joe principe has put everything in this album those riffs are just amazing to show how great base guitarist he actually is
Rise Against will never disappoint me. This band has gotten me through so damn much.

I know exactly what you mean, I started listening to RA back in 2005, and every time a new album comes out I have these exact thoughts. They're always evolving and raising the bar on their music, filling it with so much emotion.
Nothing will ever be as good as The Sufferer and the Witness, nothing will ever be as cherished as Siren Song of the Counterculture, and nothing will ever hit harder live than Revolutions Per Minute...
But damn this album is sure trying!

I finally got around to listening to this album a few days ago, just after we finished sending thoughts and prayers to Buffalo and just before sending more thoughts and prayers to Uvalde.
Finally decided, this is definitely my new favorite song

I love their last album, along with every other album. But I feel like the last one had something missing in a way. I feel like they really took note of that and really filled that void. This album will go down as one of my favorites. I will always love them though, they write exactly how I feel, in these moments.
One of the best if not the best song on this album. Rise Against is really coming back!

This album is a Masterpiece!
The verse is really Bad Religion-esque, especially the 2nd one - 1:21.
I think it's the combination of the melody and the cadence of Tim's voice, especially the line "we're sending thoughts and prayers but they're not enough", pretty cool.
I fn LOVE the octave guitar melodies on this album!

At 1:48 would be fucken amazing if he screamed his lungs out. I was expecting that and was kinda disappointed.
It would be cool yeah but I think that was the point: the person they're talking about is making empty, meaningless excuses. So it "Sounds Like" nothing. I feel like it would've landed better if the song just went dead silent there, no guitar feedback.
