Saved a Failed Dexcom G6 Sensor | T1D | The Dose Family

- Today while changing Emmas Dexcom G6 Sensor it gave us the " replace sensor now " Alert TWICE and this was our last sensor . We just hoped for the best and tried everything we can to save this sensor .

Hi guys !! Hope all is well and you guys are safe and healthy !! Has this ever happened to you ? This is the first time when replacing her sensor after 10 days that we got a " replace sensor now " alert right after inserting the new sensor .
I wonder what I did wrong ??
It has happened to us, but I never tried clipping the transmitter out. I just started again unfortunately ( dexcom has no answer when you call) my kid is not so cheery as yours :) to replace it after it fails.
I’m getting my dexcom g6, in a few days. Do they replace them if this happens? It’s my first time doing this type 😔 and wow, she’s a champ at this 🤩
