Pile 1, thank you Reem, that was so accurate for my story. It was a tough situation for me. Probably the hardest thing I've ever experienced. I survived it but still have so much more healing to do. Flash backs cause me to have a lot of panic stored in my body still and I get very triggered at certain things. But I've become much stronger. There were times during that time I wanted to end my life because the abuse was so extreme. Systematically broken down mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pile 1 I think this has to do with my current job. I've worked there in the Eye Clinic 15 years and the institution VA hospital in total of 36 years ( in 2 different departments). I thought that after working so many years I would get some type of respect for my person and work but it didn't happen. I noticed that if I didn't " engratiate" myself to this higher ups positions, I was overlooked,bullied and depreciated. I was depressed, angry, tired and ready to leave. However, I don't have the means to leave right away. I'm planning to retire in April God willing. I chose pile 3; and yes feeling so stuck right now. I took a leap of faith, left my great life move to other country to find myself and hope I could change to be stable internally, so I can build up my life again. Thought I have prepared my resources for difficult situations but when time pass by, things happened and all resources were used and taken away, but the progression of the life I have been creating seems far reaching. I even reject a recent job offer from home country with great money , I don’t want to go back, to be seen that I lost everything I built up for years for a choice I chose.
