There’s no shortcuts in having a clear skin lalo na pag acne prone. Why dont you stick and follow your derma first bago ka mgswitch into another derma. Let the products rest on your face for 1-2months. Hndi mo alam ung purging? Try to watch dermatologists on tiktok regarding purging. Years na yang problema mo. You are switching products quickly

  • @KimberleyStaMaria
    @KimberleyStaMaria Před rokem +8

I'm not a derma but I went through a major breakout last year for 6 months. I saw a derma and did a lot of research from other dermatologists. Three things I learned in my experience having gone through this journey and also having come out of it successfully:
    1) Use moisturiser on top of your prescribed creams so your skin does not dry out (check with your derma first of course).
    2) Know and learn about "Purging": your skin will turnover which means you will either continue to see or see more spot outbreaks whilst you use prescribed creams or exfoliating products (like salicylic acid), so expect more spots/outbreaks. This means the products are encouraging skin cell turnover which is NORMAL. Skin cell turnover is typically every 28-30 days.
    3) CONTINUE your prescribed routine for at least 3 months. DO NOT expect significant improvements after a week! Be patient.

  • @jm.2812
    @jm.2812 Před rokem +8

Tuloy mo lang po. Hindi makikita ang effect after a week lang. TRUST your derma. It takes time. Stick to your routine and products, huwag pabago-bago dahil lalo maiirritate ang skin.

  • @MrAquaemporia10
    @MrAquaemporia10 Před rokem +7

My unsolicited suggestion Tin is allow the products recommended by your dermatologist for at least a month not just 1-2 weeks coz sometimes your skin might be in purging stage where the products you're using is pinapalabas lahat ng dirt underneath your skin that's why more bumps resurfaced. Just like to other retinol users, meron purging stage. If nothing's change for more than a month, consult your derma again before switching to another product. Internal cleansing might be needed as well if products you're applying are not working. I'm really really hoping and praying that you achieve the best results Tin. Keepsafe🙂

Tapos dagdag pa po jan un pagpapaderma at flawless din at the same time. PATIENCE AND CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY.

Hi, Tin! I also experienced non-stop acne/pimple breakouts way back before pandemic. I cant even go out without putting any make up. But pandemic happened. This time is when i started to put NOTHING on my face the whole 2 years that were stuck at home. And fortunately, MY SKIN WAS NEVER BEEN THIS GOOD. The breakouts and sudden popping of active pimple, stopped. This is where I realized that I have a very low maintenance skin. The more na may nilalagay sa mukha, the more na nagttrigger siya. I suggest, wag ka na muna masyadong mag skin care and make up as long as you can, except sa sunscreen. Im using Biore by the way kasi oily din ako like you so mas swak ang gel type. Para mapahinga yung skin mo sa face. :)

Been watching you for many years na. I also suffered with acne and breakouts dati. What i learned is that nasa lifestyle at diet ang answer. Ung mga cleanser, serum etc, pangtapal lang sya pero you need to heal ang root cause if u want to stop breakouts once and for all. Kumbaga, pdeng gumana yang mga yan for few weeks or months pro kung continuos pa din ung reason, di matatapos yan. To cut it short, i adapted carnivore diet, no sugar etc, just food meant for human. We are so bombarded with so much propaganda kase of what is healthy etc. Dont just take my words, research and give it try for atleast a month. I hope this helps and rooting for your acne healing 💚😉

Oh. It takes minimum 6 to 8 weeks before you see effects of a skin care treatment for acne. Tretinoin is a retinoid. It purges your skin so it is EXPECTED that it will get worse BEFORE it gets better. This is because retinoids work to EXPEL existing comedones (these are the bumps you are talking about) and helps prevent the formation of new ones eventually in the long term. Tretinoin is actually a mainstay of acne treatment. Don't jump from one product to another after just one week. Dermatologists know what they're doing. You have to trust the process when it comes to having great skin. There are no shortcuts.

Hi Christine, ganyan din ako before, with acne prone skin, from high shool up to early 30s. When I was working, kung saan sang dermatologist ako pumupunta sa Makati, it doesnt help. Until later on i got tired. So i tied my hair all the time. Kahit hindi bagay sa akin. Perla or any baby soap na lng ginamit ko sa face, may baon ako pati sa office. I wash my face, kahit middle of the day. Pag naramdaman ko oily or itchy na uli face ko, i wash it again. I always have clean lampin or any soft cloth, on my bag. I stopped using towel on my face kc naka allergy din yung ma hibla ng towel. Maybe it will work for you too.

I even cried every night dahil sa acne ko. But I realized na magderma na. I even have PCOS pala. Pumunta ako ng derma and sabi talaga ni doc na I really need to heal within. Kasi if topical ointments or skincare lang ang hirap talaga or hahanap ka talaga ng hiyang sayo. I have been suffering cystic acne for like 10 years already ever since i was 15 yrs old. I tried din po personal na derma and skin clinic like you po pero nag stop ako kasi parang bumabalik parin and mahal.
Take note that I have oily, sensitive and acne prone skin.
    *Optional

    1. Purito green deep foaming cleanser
*Inkey List Salicylic acid cleanser (if i feel na clogged ang pores ko)
    2. Pyunkang yul acne moisturizer
*Purito deep sea water cream (sensitive kasi ako sa higher concentration ng niacinamide even sa The Ordinary)
    3. Etude house Sunprise SPF 50++
    NIGHT
    1. I do double cleansing if i have make up on. I use heimish cleansing balm then i'll go with same cleanser Purito. Or if wala akong active na gagamitin, I'll use the Inkey List SA.
2.*Acnefree Adapalene Gel (salitan lang ng ibang actives like AHA/BHA)
    *Paula's Choice 2% BHA (
    3. Pyunkang yul acne moisturizer
*Purito deep sea water cream (If walang active)

    stress
    kullang sa tulog
    pagkain
    at minsan

From an acne sufferer myself, eto po ung mai share kong tips 😊
    1. May supplements na pwedeng magtrigger ng breakout. For you, palagay ko ung Stress tabs and ung collagen. Hair skin and nails supplement, I think di sya nag titrigger
I think better ung foaming na gentle cleanser. May variant si cetaphil na foaming cleanser.
    3. I agree sa soap bar cleanser, masyado syang matapang and drying. Especially ung acne meds na prescribed nung derma ay very drying.
    4. I suggest po before using the meds, gamit kau ng lightweight and hydrating moisturizer/serum pang buffer lang sa acne meds. Then after applying the acne meds, mag wait kau mga 10 mins then moisturizer
    5. Napansin ko po wala kaung ginamit na moisturizer after , either un or di na pinakita sa video but I promise it will make a difference kasi super irritating po nung acne meds na yan ( I have tried both so I am familiar sa effects nila)
    6. Watch Dr Dre and ung advised na sandwich method ( especially sa tretinoin) and may purging talaga sya especially if its your first time using a tretinoin cream.
    7. Matagal po talaga makita ang results, give it. 3 months po, hindi sya weeks pero maganda talaga ung effect ng tretinoin sa long term use kaya tyaga lng talaga

I tried to use cetaphil before and they said na kailangan continuous mo siya gamitin and its expensive, so triny ko dove soap the blue one and it's effective for me plus parang nakakapag moisture pa siya. And sa pag shampoo, pag naliligo po ako, syempre babasain mo yung whole body mo, inuuna ko muna mag shampoo and conditioner tas sa pag banlaw hindi ko dinadamay katawan ko para iwas body acne so nakayuko ako pag mag babanlaw them after that tinatali ko pa-bun yung hair ko, para yung body naman masabunan ko

Aside from diet, try using Face Republic products, it helped me a lot. Was always having acne back then, tried all the rejuv sets and was so depressed about the peeling and still having the acne so I tried face republic products the one with gold mineral cleanser and cica moisturizer and now it helped me a lot. I also did derma before and was spending 10k per month, did not work at all. Also make sure to not wear makeup for long periods of time and keep your hair away from your face especially the bangs. Be wary of your face mask as well. Cloth masks are better make sure to not reuse it without washing.

Hello po Ms Tine, silent follower po.I've been following your skin problem journey.I really want to help you get through with that. Being an acne-prone person myself due to genes and stress from my college days up until started working, Ive managed to overcome it by following a simple skin routine. Believe me, Ive tried many skin treatment regimen from derma sessions to different skin products; but none of the worked except for the aforementioned skin routine.
Kindly try: Body Shop's tea tree facial wash, Body Shop's anti imperfect night mask as spot corrector and Nature's republic aloe vera gel as moisturizer. Minimize oily/fatty foods.Exercise. Hydration.
I hope that you will get better with this recommendation. God bless po.

I used to have acne breakouts before, like as in ice pick scars na ung iba. I just learned talaga na less is more. Before pandemic i used make up to cover my pimples, but pandemic happened i guess nakapag pahinga ung skin ko. Now more on skin care na lng ako. I dont even wash my face every morning kapag maliligo lng, i used micellar water > moisturizer > sun screen.

Try mo yon ate Tine.
