    Introducing Jack Kirkham’s Skyliner, the first USA-made Springbar® Hot Tent. The toughest, most spacious, and most versatile Springbar® Tent we’ve ever built.
    Built on a 10'x14' footprint with an all-new pattern and reinforced pole set that maximizes internal space, the Skyliner provides 30% more living space than the Family Camper or Classic Jack 140 - it’s incredibly roomy inside, secure in heavy weather, and ideal for use as a canvas tent with a wood stove.
    Jack called on a lifetime of experience with Springbar® Tent design to make the Skyliner, as he put it, “the most satisfying thing I’ve ever put together.”
    Quick and easy to set-up with a very reasonable weight and pack size considering the scale of the tent, packed with clever features, and built extra tough-the Springbar® Skyliner stands in a class of its own. Plus, each one is cut and sewn by hand in our Salt Lake City workshop.

    For some strange reason this man makes you free like he's concerned about others, and he's likable.

    Recently got mine! Used it twice since Jan. LOVE it! Same footprint as a Family Camper, but much roomier due to the straight walls! Although a little pricy, It's worth every cent! Thanks for making a great product right here in the U.S.A.!

    Never heard of springbar tents until a month or 2 ago. And since then I have been watching videos and videos and reading reviews of them and I have not heard one bad thing about them. I am convinced that it is the tent for me. I have the classic jack 100 in my cart now on their website. Now I am torn between getting the 100 or upgrade to the 140 and go to a hot tent. I am in a few months going to go homeless and live in either this tent or my camper. Yes I have a teardrop camper I pull behind my Subaru outback. I don’t plan on taking my teardrop out west but will need a nice heavy duty tent that is easy to setup and I believe I found it with the springbar. I hate cold weather so I will travel to warmer weather over the seasons of the year. With it just being myself at 64 years old I believe this tent would be easy for me.

    I have had highline8 before. It is a really good tent. But in Korea it is really difficult to buy one. I hope to buy skyline someday. Thanks for uploading this clip

    Great story! I love hearing of people who have avidly spend their career refining and mastering a trade. I have a lot of tents, including a teepee style hot tent. It is compact but has a restrictive space. The hot tent shown here looks quite appealing. Making it in the U.S. adds to that appeal.

    The problem is that I can buy TWO Kodiak tents, a stove jack kit, and a stove for the same price as this tent. I understand that making anything in the U.S. now triples the price, but I just can’t justify spending this much when all of your competitors have the same lifetime warranty and almost the same level of quality for so much less. It is a great tent, just seems like you have out priced your customer base.

    This looks like an amazing tent! I have been searching for a 4-season hot tent and happened to see this pop up (pun intended) on Bob Wells' CheapRVliving YT channel. Small world, I happen to live in SLC and we actually used Springbar tents when I was a Boy Scout in the mid 90's. The only thing that could make this particular tent model "better" IMO would be the option for the Admiral blue color used on the Family tent. Strongly considering this!

    • @livableincome
      @livableincome Před rokem

      I personally love this color. But would like a big window on the front too so you can see who is approaching. It looks like you can only tell if the "door" is open.
      Ps: I learned about it via Bob Wells' channel too.

    Just pre-ordered one. paid in full. Can't wait until October. Which stove should I buy? Woodlander Large or maybe the Woodlander Pizza Oven?

    • @ronland1821
      @ronland1821 Před 2 lety +1

      I have the traveler and I run the woodlander medium in it. It bakes you out of it. The only down fall is it won’t burn all night. I get about 4 1/2 to 5 hours. With this tent being a little bigger definitely go with the large. They are excellent stoves. I’m going to order a titanium one next for my pack.

      2 cots still fit with the stove and room to spare. I on the side and one across the back. Me and my son use it for our base camp. Enjoy your tent and stove 👊

    I am looking for fresh air vents on the tent, and I do t see any. Does the fabric breath enough to bring in fresh air for the fire, or is it a requirement to leave a window open part of the way?

    • @springbarcanvas
      @springbarcanvas  Před rokem +1

      Hi John, thanks for the question. Even with all the doors/windows closed - plenty of air is moving to feed the stove draft. That said- more often than not a window is cracked for ventilation and temperature regulation. Nice thing about the dual awnings is you can vent the windows without any weather getting in.

      They will refer you to the winnerwell site. It will cost you another $500 roughly with the add-on kit for the tent (for the large). I don't work for springbar, but I just got everything myself for the jackery 140.

    I would be lying to say "I've lived in apartments That SIZE!" But moving around the country chasing my alleged career made me a kind of nomad, and also frequently meant that between my employment and rehearsing then performing with orchestras and informal folk & rock bands meant I didn't spend a lot of waking time in my apartments.
    Hmmmm.
    Ya think a person could have one corner of a tent like this as a computer space, and another for a piano keyboard/fiddle/guitar??? Can't park your acoustic instrument too close to the woodstove!
    Actually, if you just could capture all the heat from your computer...
    *_Imagine a tent with a floor that allows you to blow the heat thru heat-resistant fabric tubes under the tent floor..._* A hybrid of the Bouncy Castle concept with Arctic Military Inflatable dormitories.
    All you need is a Congressional appropriation.
    Thoughts like this get me into a lot of trouble sometimes.
    Mr. Kirkham, you have my permission to run with this. ... Or AWAY FROM IT! ‹ =•‏o ‹ =•þ ‹ =•‏)
