About a year ago, I released a video called "The Dark Knight | A Symbol". This tribute aimed to demonstrate that before being a person the Batman had to be an inspiring symbol for Gotham. When I watched "Joker" at the movies, my girlfriend pointed out to me that the poking of the Joker had a very similar role than that of the Batman for Gotham. The two were "symbols" inspiring differently for the city. This is why a year later, I take the same structure as that of the video on "The Dark Knight", but this time, for the Joker.

What created the joker was a society that valued money over people. This can be seen with Thomas Wayne running for mayor, an out of touch billionaire. Also seen with the 3 "WallStreet" guys being more valued over people like Fleck(When Fleck was beaten up as a kid and as an adult, nobody gave two shits). The movie referring to them as "Wallstreet guys" symbolizes why they are more important. Also seen with the close up of the police car in the final scene with the City of Gotham's motto of "Industry First"

Almost endless lessons one can learn from joker. Moral revolution is one of them. Hate me! But to me joker is a hero! This edit is one of the bests that tell joker is a hidden wisdom. Yeah same..born into care..gay..diagnosed with autism at 14 and bipolar this year at 28. Bullied so badly at School I still self harm to this day..gone most of my life without a single friend and then now its all too trendy to whinge "I have anxxxxxieeeeeeeety" .. I see commments like that on vids for Joker, Bullseye , Watchmen etc etc and as jaded and bitter as it sounds..I just think "Yeah you relate to it..sure you do"..with your friends, your partners , your kids, your job ..you may think you do but to spend Christmas alone at 28 with nobody thinking of you and nobody to reach out to.. believe me that line "I havnt been happy for one fucking second of my entire life" I DO relate to..even made a pledge to myself to end it all if by age 3O thing have not gotten better when there is nobody that tries harder.
Yeah and everybody is awful, the ones meant to protect us are the ones who hurt us, nobody has any decency, they preach kindness but only if there are people around to pat them on the back for it otherwise they act like monsters.
@@thewanderer3110 I can relate im a loner no friends estranged from my family two kids in Thailand I don't see or hear from diagnosed with depression and anxiety and PTSD im also an alcoholic i was born with a heir lip and cleft palate so was bullied alot during school I live with my uncle who is a narcissistic control freak and pompous believe me your not the only one who has suffered i tried to commit suicide twice had 3 counsellors and a psychologist

This is legendary and somewhat liberating 🔥🔥🔥 There comes a point in a human beings life where they cannot tolerate anymore pain/ trauma, the injustices of a broken society mount up only to realize he cannot escape the system because he is the system therefore results into creating his own. The rise of human value and rights comes to mind. Many relate to him as he speaks of everyday reality which concludes him to be a hero rather a 'criminal'.

I thought The Dark Knight was brilliant, Heath Ledger was a superb JOKER. But Joaquain Phoenix totally blew me away , seeing him playing our iconic villian. He is born for this role is and. He plays him faultlessly, the ultimate JOKER of them all . He did this masterpiece of a movie so proud, Todd Philips choose the perfect actor for it , his best performance of his movie career.

Ever see the film Gosford Park? It's about a rich guy who makes a habit out of knocking up the help and putting his bastards up for adoption. Given that mental illness can show up genetically, this is probably what really happened. Maybe his mother was driven to madness, maybe she fell in love with Thomas Wayne and couldn't deal with the rejection then took her anger at him out on his son.
So this kid has the genes of "nobility" (Arthur aka King Arthur) and Fleck (aka "fleck of dust", rejected mother driven to madness), these two forces battling within him. Ultimately, the feeling of injustice overrides and drives him but the callous psychopathy, often accredited to the very wealthy, many of whom are willing to do anything for money and power, enables Arthur to act upon his murderous thoughts.
I'm glad that Joaquin won the Oscar for this role over Johnny Cash, because of THAT SPEECH. Had he won for Cash, it wouldn't have warranted the eloquence and substance he delivered, which is HIS true essence.
All of the documentaries he has narrated about animal cruelty, unity, reveals how deeply he cares about the human condition and planet. They say artists are here to beautify the world, and he is.

This video only has a few views compared to all your others, and I must confess I was hesitant to relive this movie through your channel. I think people are scared of this movie, and the dark themes within. I'm glad you didn't spoil anything about the story other than what people have probably seen through memes, spoilers, or reviews.
