Mechanical Transplnater's Model 92 laying plastic mulch. Self starting at begining of the row and showing optional cutter bar to cut the plastic at the end of the row.
Sorry folks this is the first time back to our site, i work in the shop, not in the office. That is me on the tractor demonstrating our model 92 a. The cutter bar does work nearly perfect every time but takes a little getting used to. This is the trick..Stop Drop clutch lift. Stop all forward movement ...drop cutter bar completely...release brake and engage clutch...lift mulch layer...raise the cutterbar. This system will only work on our Model "A" with a three inch tall raised bed and the cutterbar does NOT cut the drip tape. Model "B" is approximately a 5 inch tall bed . is their any drip tape in that much? How do you irrigate?
No drip tape in the mulch ,it is applied at the same time under the mulch.
Looks like sometimes that cutter doesn't work, first time I have seem one.
