Most of the homes in the Villages clearly have been designed for a married couple, with lots of stuff, and with children and grandchildren expected to visit. There do not appear to be any homes for a single person (that just wants to play golf), with not a lot of stuff, and no children or grandchildren.
Sure there are. You're looking at the wrong homes. Look at patio villas. Also there are some designer homes in the 1500 square foot range.

I think the more proactive approach is The Villages needs to have an “in person or power point presentation” to indoctrinate new people to the state/county & The Villages laws & regulations.
Also, to educate folks about how to tell which paths are & are not for golf carts; which roads that golf cart can legally drive on; speed limits; right-a-way with carts & cars; seat belt requirements & installation; do you need a driver’s license to drive a cart; do you need insurance-like on a regular vehicle?
All these things need to be educated to new golf cart owners & drivers because the laws/rules are not the same for every golf cart community.

That was definitely my signal to head home Linda. When the street lights came on, you'd better be hoome or headed home! OMG! What a disgusting letter from that Edie person! If the show is so boring, why is she looking at it???! I feel the same as the people that had a problem with their golf cart. I slipped in my kitchen and broke my hip about 3 years ago. Stayed in a rehab facility for a month here in The Villages called "The Club". I had a wonderful time there even though I was recovering from something so serious. Just looking out the window each morning and taking in the beautiful landscaping and watching golf carts go by gave me a lift. I stayed positive in my healing because I knew there was so much more going on in The Villages and I wanted to get back out there! Just the prospect of something beautiful to look forward to is a big help in healing. Plus the staff was A+! The Blooper Break was hilarious! I'm single and live here and it's fine. As a single person , you can join in the same clubs and sports as the couples! 😎🌴No problem. Great Jokes Giz! ❤ Thanks Jerry and Linda for your videos. I so appreciate you both!

I’m a retired postal worker, and we sort the mail by address. The back of the box where we put in your mail, will be by the customers address .The front of the postal mailbox that you see is by unit number of the mailbox itself.

We live in a 55+ community about 30 miles from The Villages and our golf courses are in good shape. We haven't had rain until today. I definitely think it's because the employees haven't cared for a golf course. We have golf course caretakers with experience. It costs more, but worth it to us. Gizmo is so funny! His new dog friend is a cutie! Great show, as always!

When it comes to golf courses.... Florida is the area where they BELONG. I think it's environmentally irresponsible to have all those golf courses out in Arizona, where they only get 5 inches of rain a year, and it's 100 degrees every day. So much of the water issues out west are because of that kind of thing. I find it terrible that residents out there that have lived there for DECADES are under water restrictions, while the golf courses are just green as can be!
I’m here from Madison, WI on a girls trip, visiting a friend in Mallory Square. We’re having so much fun while keeping my eyes open for you two! No sightings yet!

No more than 4 or 5 times a day.

When I lived here in 2011-12 I had a part time job at Cane Garden cleaning the kitchen and outdoor patio from 9:30p.m. To 1:30am I was a 32 minute golf cart ride to home and had no problems even when a police car drove by me. Got home after 2am it was a good job for a guy like that doesn’t sleep much.
I highly recommend you take a long weekend trip up to Niagara Falls. Well it would be a long long weekend. Go in the fall so you can get the double benefit of the beautiful foliage along the way.

Alligator relocation runs about 5k per gator according to a DNR officer from Sanibel Island whom I spoke to several years back.

The story of Alligator Rob & Chance The Snapper. About 3 years ago, someone had the "brilliant" idea to release their pet alligator into the Humboldt Park lagoon in Chicago. The alligator was nicknamed Chance The Snapper. The Chicago Park District contacted Alligator Rob, and he retrieved Chance from the lagoon. Chance was relocated to an alligator sanctuary in St. Augustine. This story was all over the Chicago media and received a lot of attention.

I’ve been to Niagara Falls and it fantastic, I went on the Canadian side and you take a tram down 90* angle which feels like your going to fall out. The boat ride is a must and you do need to wear there rain coats.
