- David Horowitz spent the first part of his life in the world of the Communist-progressive left, a politics he inherited from his mother and father, and later in the New Left as one of its founders. When the wreckage he and his comrades had created became clear to him in the mid-1970s, he left. Three decades of second thoughts then made him this movement's principal intellectual antagonist. "For better or worse," as Horowitz writes in the preface to this, the first volume of his collected conservative writings, "I have been condemned to spend the rest of my days attempting to understand how the left pursues the agendas from which I have separated myself, and why."

Gosh, while I was learning much of how our country came to elect obama, back in 2010/11 and on, I did not learn of Horowitz and his stances until early 2015, I wish I had known about him sooner as well as the heritage foundation. It's also that time I learned about Shipero! Today Ben doesn't address many things that need to be addressed, but I'd agree he's been a help at arguing against leftist attacks on campuses.

And I wonder what he would think about the millions of young men who regard Peterson as like a rock star practically. And the guy is lecturing on the Bible and telling those young men to grow up and be responsible! It's amazing that he has moved them so when you consider what he is saying. I think what Horowitz is saying accords with Peterson's wonderfully. What he says is even more relevant today than it was in 2013.

For those who have not yet read David Horowitz' book "Radical Son," it's very revealing of the origins of today's liberal democrats and what they really want to accomplish. Horowitz was one of them in the 60's and knew many of the major players then and now, so he has a unique perspective on both conservatives and liberals.

Poppet 2 what woke me up is Saying we were never gonna get manufacturing jobs back at the dame time my hubbys job went to China. Then he said we cling to our guns, Bible and religion. Woah.....then i noticed how he was cowtowing to the Islamic radicals and IRAN. God i wish i had not voted for him but i was not into politics and not into research. I liked his flowery speeches and wanted a first black president so my kindergartners who were Black would be excited and know they really could be anything they wanted to if they believed in themselves.

We are awake now. Make sure you ask every republican candidate how they will treat the 1A and the 2A which protects us from a tyrannical government. That is why they want it gone! Just like Hitler their plans are evil. I heard a speech once by a holocaust survivor and she explained how Hitler preached gun safety for a long time and finally sold it to the masses even Jews. Then on first day of his chancellorship he began confiscating every weapon from the people and then he proceeded to go after the Jews! The one European country he did not invade was Switzerland! The government gave every citizen a gun and told them to use it. Hitler left them alone! This is an important lesson in history you do not hear in public school!
