1995 BMW E34 525TD Project : E39 front Coilovers in E34

welding up coilovers to suit the E34 using new E39 prosport coilovers
also used a set of E36 pillowball top mounts
I didn't bother recording installing rears as the just bolt in out of the box

I like this guy no spring compressors needed when taking old shocks apart, you see so many ppl using spring compressors in other videos it’s quicker & more fun to do it without them 😂

Haha can't see the need, seems safe enough if you keep yourself well away lol damage yourself more with cheap spring compressors

This method is also used in Japan. Great technology.

Alot of cars don't have off the shelf coilovers or in the case of the e34, the shock absorber and hub is 1 piece

They're quite comfortable, I did check they where straight etc, just not on camera
