Been watching Warchant wrap ups since the last year of Jimbo. So to finally see y'all be able to say we're 12-0 makes me so stoked.
I mentioned it after the Duke game, and I've noticed it since, FSU just tires other teams. By the fourth quarter last night, they had defensive players run the entire way around their lineman to strip sack the QB. I don't feel this has been talked about enough.
Our d line is the strength of the team, by far. With jt gone, it's even more noticeable.
Our Defense won this game for us! Especially after halftime adjustments. Loved to see Verse, Fiske, and Peyton DOMINATE the Gator’s O-Line. I bet that kid is gonna have nightmares of Verse and Fiske the entire off season. Dominating Defensive performance in second half. You know Verse had a talk with defense on sidelines and told our D “we gotta win this game for 13 boys” GO NOLES!!!!
Or just shove them backward until they tackle their own QB!

If we beat louiseville, and it's gonna be very tough. We probably get in because we are must see TV. It could be 2014 again, but so many people would love to see us get smacked down. This game was big because it probably solidifies a top 5 recruiting class, which is the most important thing ultimately.

Best win since 2013 maybe. That was my first FSU game, home on leave after deployment. Got to see us twist the knife and give the killing blow to Floridas 4-8 season. KB manhandled those little DBs. Feels good to be 12-0. First time where I felt good even while down. I knew the game would change and we would win.

Critics have complained about how FSU has struggled to score in the first half after every game and and we aren't a good team or pass the eye test. But any coach in the NCAA would tell you, that they wish they could coach a team that finishes every game like we do. Because EVERY coach knows what sportscaster or sports pundits don't, it's not how you start, but how you finish!

It’s kind of a lazy take about FSU not scoring in the first half. Check the box scores again. Fans just get anxious when the team isn’t covering the spread by the start of the second quarter and pretend we have 2013 levels of talent and experience across the board, only two years removed from going 5-7.

I remember the 1997 game. Wadsworth was held all night. Busby threw an interception on the last drive of the game. FSU would have played Nebraska in the National Championship game. Played Ohio St. in the Sugar Bowl.

That loss was painful. I felt like we were the best team in the country. That was twice in a calendar year UF cost us a national championship since they also beat us in the Jan 97 sugar bowl.

Last night was, I think, the 2nd-largest crowd to watch an FSU-UF game in The Swamp: both had over 90,000 fans in attendance! Last night's butts-in-seats was about only 600 short of the 90,907 packed in The Swamp in 2009. Imagine the traffic around the stadium, on UF's campus, and on US27N/SR-26W to US98N/I-75N to I-10W -- slow going in every direction (except maybe south).

It was ironic. Tate never scrambles or won't. However, the one time does scramble he almost got decapitated but essentially won us the game. It has been that kind of year. The gators would have gotten the ball back just needing a field goal with plenty of time.
