My dog passed last Saturday. She was my first ever and the best ever, she even made my mom who was afraid of dogs into a dog person. Thank you for making this so I could stumble across it at this time.
When my dog of almost 14 years was put down … I was holding him. I got another dog immediately 2 days later & he was the spitting image of my dog. The crazy thing is 3 months into ownership of my new puppy he changed colors to match my dog I just put away. Then he started developing the same mannerisms as my dog.🙏🏾

I am so so so so so so SO sorry for your loss man. i wish i could say this has not happened to me but that would be lying. My dog who was there even before i was born, passed away last year. i know its not recent but i feel the pain everyday. he had a tumor in his stomach and had to put him down at the age of 14. ill miss you Clyde. i wish you a good and easy healing man. its never easy. (note: i got 2 dogs and 1 reminds me of him, will never replace him
