I always categorize Blur as experimental/alternative band rather than Britpop, they are closer to Radiohead than Oasis, experimental wise.
They are experimental like Radiohead but with Mod/Punk and British attitude/power.

i've been really enjoying this series but instead of the usual request for sonic youth or mbv, i'd really like to see recreations of non-guitar instruments like synths or zither on guitar with modern pedals, or stuff that was recorded with studio tricks like robin guthrie's guitar on heaven or las vegas. i don't see enough appreciation for less traditional guitar sounds on here, and it'd be fantastic to see more content about guitarists who don't have well-documented rigs. it feels like i'm asking for a lot tbh but i think it'd make for really engaging content. again, love the work here, and super cool to see andy do one of these.

Beetlebum is soooooooo genius. But I pretty much love all Blur. Also the Chemical World solo sounds were spot on.

Yes I know. I said they are underrated in the US, they had mass appeal in the UK however still remained relatively underground in the US
Such a good band, loved the tips. Not listening on decent speakers but Beetlebum sounded supreme. Didn't want Coffee and TV to end.
Can only say I wish Boys and Girls was in this video, the Flanger in it is so addictive

Yeah. You bump the rate down to about 2 o clock, if i remember correctly on a BF-2 to get that woosh sound.
And the creepy little guitar licks are with the rate and depth all the way up

Love those two puns in the description now here's my opinion
Song 2: clean part was pretty good, the bass's fuzz was pretty good, and the rhythm and lead guitar was nice and well layred using the Pro Co RAT so i rate it a 10/10
He thought of cars: needed to be a bit more tubular in sound but the 2nd guitar sounded sick, the 3rd guitar was a tad more twangy but it sounded alright, guitar 4 was another great addition and even guitar 5 was nice so it's a 9/10
Coffee & TV: Graham's part was spot on and the solo sounded so much like the original and that's a definate 10/10
Jubilee: Guitar 1 sounded quite good to me and guitar 2 needed a bit of chorus but guitar 3 was on point and the outro sounded quite close so it's a 9/10 for me
Beetlebum: it should've been on the neck pickup and a bit more fizzy but the solo was good and quite close so it's a 9/10 again
Chemical World: it was a bit too boxy this time and needed to be a bit more open, the 2nd guitar was fine but it needed more warble to the tone, the 3rd guitar was great tho so it's an 8/10 this time
