i think he's scared that we might see another DMT meta, i haven't watched yet but i can feel it for some reason
Theres actually technically more bloom from the hip in this update, they very slightly decreased the accuracy but bumped the magnetism a tiny bit as well to compensate for controllers, the change to the reticle to more accurately represent the spread also makes it look tighter. and im just going to copy paste straight from the devs so i dont have people coming after me
With catalyst, iwhen hip-firing:
Slightly reduced accuracy benefits.
Increased magnetism falloff scale (1.6 to 1.7).
Increased baseline rate of fire from 130RPM to 140RPM.
Removed PvE-only damage buff that scaled with stacks of Cranial Spike and added a 15% damage bonus at maximum stacks of Cranial Spike.
I tried it a bit. To me it's kinda wonky. On paper a 140 from the hip with great range and a 120 ADS sounds amazing. But idk, I feel like the ttk is just not going to be there against things like Elsie's, Khvostov, Summoner, 450 autos, etc. it'll definitely be competitive in 3v3. That being said, I still think I'd probably use my Elsie's more.
I feel like it has a lot of ghost bullets right now, even reviewed some clips i took where the reticle was directly on their forehead (hip fire) but the shot didnt register
Hopefully the higher aim requirement for DMT hipfire (in that its possible to miss unlike most guns) will hold it back from being abused too wildly by everyone / the passive back-of-map sitters, but as an mnk TLW and DMT enjoyer I am PUMPED
i think the hip fire should literally be pin point accurate so it takes more skill to actually hit the crits rather than just spamming hip fire for the kill

Ive been using some 120 scout along with dmt,i really like them honestly more then 120 handcanons,i still need to get used to using dmt since im in controller but its not bad for how i heard its better on mnc.
Yeah i think the hip fire at x5 us glitched, does not feel like an increase at all
I forgot it finally got buffed.. I still miss the old DMT but it never gets old using it tbh.
It really is a lot of fun to use

Dmt is very easy to counter, someone puts on dmt and the other two push up and push the solo player or force the solo player to do a 1v3 after we kill his two teammates since he’s so far.

For the 47% that are okay switching to Hunter, sure. You should be able to claim disability benefits, go ahead and check.

It’s ironic Jake complaining about dmt when last word is more of an issue… do you realize the prophet dmt like scout is better than dmt… put on keep away and precision instrument… dmt actually takes somewhat skill knowing when to hip fire, at what range, how to properly play the gun on certain maps, how to play with the team with the gun.

I play overwatch also, it’s a lot more balanced than Destiny. Which makes sense because it’s only a PvP game. There are annoying things about that game too but it’s definitely more balanced than Destiny
