Both incredible technologies, PhotoFusion X and Adaptive Sun are great, but in different ways. Here's a quick comparison of both in the blue colour way.

Many years ago… they offered colored photochromatic lens options but they didn’t take off. (Longtime ABO optician here)
I feel with the help of social media teaching a younger demographic… this time it may work!! Best wishes!
that frame looks real good!
That's my choice for my next frame I think. I'll go photofusion all the way, I love that blue colour on my current frames but feel like I need an adaptive sun pair to complete the set!
This guy's watch collection is on point ⌚👀
I just got mine. Thx robert for the frame recommendation
Been following your channel for a couple of years now and apparently I am now completely influenced. My local guy uses Zeiss so I ordered a set if blue adaptive sun lences for a chrome pilot frame I’v had for many years and they came out absolutely amazing. The blue gradient looks completely awesome against the chrome. So thank you for making so many great videos about how to creat custom glasses!
I love blue lenses paired with clear frames but I’ve read blue tint is a bad choice for sunglasses. “Blue lenses will cause blue light to enter the eyeball, and blue light will damage the macular area of the fundus” Is this true ?
If only photofusion would be available in a gradient lens. Would be my go to lens as a pilot. Adaptive Sun is a no go at night, flying or driving. You need all the contrast you can get at night.
Where can I try and get them in the UK?
How is the adaptive sun glasses when driving at night? I really want the best night driving glasses that I can use during the day and potentially as sunglasses. The night driving is the most important. Still researching that now.
Don't try to get everything in one pair. It's like trying to have an SUV and a sports car in one...
I would recommend a clear pair of DriveSafe glasses (perhaps with PhotoFusion X), and a pair of Adaptive Sun. That's a perfect combination.
Email me, rob@thespectaclefactory.com if you'd like us to create it for you.
We have to agree gast mapi is the best frame in its price point.
True that, but I’d really want to try if it fits before buying. It looks a bit large?
@@AlbinJi ya true it definitely is an oversized look.
I have 2 pears sunglasses
Is adaptive sun the same as a photofusion lens with a tint added? Maybe not available in the U.S.? What UV flashlight is that? Mine is not that strong!
audio on this video is messed up. needs to be reloaded. something is wrong with the left stereo track in that it’s missing. Only sound coming from right speaker/earbud/headphone.
What os the frame's name? Thank you
adaptive sun for me
Does Adaptive Sun come in prescription eyeglass sizes?
Yeah
How much are adaptive sun with a gradient tints ?
Hi, drop us an email at hello@thespectaclefactory.com and one of our team will be in touch😊

He’s done a few videos on customising glasses and I think he talks about them all on those - hope that helps ☺️
@@emmavnn_ thanks! :)
Iv just received mine from Gast after their restock.
I'm getting adaptive sun blue gradient wit a ruby flash coating.
Thanks for Ur help bobert
just got PhotofusionX this week. It's really good, very subtle. You don't necessarily notice the darkening which is great cuz it gives your eyes time to adjust.
I want to get the Drivesafe though. I'm not sure how that works for me but sounds interesting as I do like going on long road trips
But light goes through the frame?
Zeiss PhotoFusion X is based on BlueGuard.
Adaptive Sun dont have Clear color?
Both. But you already know that.
