- A road trip from Manali to Kaza in Spiti Valley is nothing less than an adventure. The 60 km stretch between Gramphoo and Batal is enough to get your heart pumping. This is a road that is strictly meant for adventure enthusiasts and travel junkies.
In this video, we traveled to Kaza from Jispa (Manali) via the Atal Tunnel, Batal, and Chandratal. Watching the video, you can also get information on how you can plan your own trip. I hope you like the video.

Hi. Amazing video and guidance! Can you please tell what is the road and weather condition now on Kaza - Manali via Chandrataal route. Will it be better to cover the circuit by bike from Shimla to Kaza to Manali OR Manali to Kaza to Shimla. Considering travel from 1st of July 2024.

When planning a trip to Keran Valley, would you recommend traveling from Srinagar or Gulmarg?
Also, are shared taxis readily available for transportation?
Better to travel from Srinagar and you will have to rent a private taxi. Public transport on this route is not that frequent.
After your inputs on current conditions in your blog..i cycled in a group from rampur bushahr to kaza(via karcham pooh nako tabo) in 4 days and finally kaza to lohsar.
But from lohsar to manali via chandertal i took a cab and that decision was based on this video.

Namaste Bhai. Chandratal road is open but you won't find campsites there for another 10-15 days. Even the road may again close temporarily. It was snowing there yesterday. I just posted another video

A hatchback is not recommended on this route bhai but if you must, give it a couple of weeks before you go

Sir mai 4 june ko 4x4 car's se manali to kaza plan kar rhey hai hum log ja saktey hai na koi timming issue ya road close ka scene to nai hai

It would be difficult by Swift but doable
Yes you can go..... although this path is for 4×4 vehicles but if you cross it with your skills and patience then you can do it safely.... with god grace we crossed safely on etios sedan and polo

anywhere between 7 to 9 hours

We crossed yesterday with toyota etios sedan and vogesvagon polo cars safely.... scary path.... with your skills you will cross 80-90 km off road stretch
