- 32 of the world's best and standout Call of Duty teams traveled to Los Angeles, CA to compete in the biggest and final tournament of the Black Ops 4 #CWL season.
#CoD Champs 2019 featured an overall prize pool of $2 million, which is split between all of the qualified teams according to where they finish in the final placements.
Eunited came out on top, after defeating 100 Thieves & OpTic Gaming, to be crowned the grand champions.
With the format changing and franchise entering the game next season, here is the full recap of the FINAL CoD Champs!

In defense of clay
Clayster IS one of the best COD player among with many others. He deserves that spot he is at now. Skill in competitive COD isn’t about how many kills you can rack up every game. The make or break in competitive CoD is teamwork and communication and EUnited apparently had that since you know. They won. Clayster may not have been the star of every game, but HE PUT IN HIS WORK. It doesn’t matter if he goes negative or has the lowest amount of kills. In competitive CoD, you can’t be “carried”. There isn’t enough room for error in this esport. Clayster along with eunited DESERVED this win. And optic gaming and 100thieves also played an AMAZING game and did VERY VERY well

the best thing with 2019 champs was the fact the reaction when eu won was nothing
Was there. The crowd was extremely loud when they won, not sure what the streams were like but the audience was super behind EU the whole time.
I know what you mean, the celebrations were a bit strange. I generally think its because the stage was so big and seemed like the crowd was so far away lmao. But nothing will ever beat OpTic's IW celebrations, shit was iconic and probably the best main stage set up I have ever seen imo. Regardless, eU best in the game.

For example in American football we have the LA Rams and for Basketball we have the LA Lakers. So basically wherever the team is from is where and what their name will be. They will be drafted by franchises.

@@Guts1022 Franchising means that teams are gonna be location based. Its kinda like the nba with cities having their own teams. So since the league is changing, the "big tournement" probobly wouldn't be called cod champs or even be like it.

Jinji nope, but it is as we know it. From now on, teams will be named after a city slot ( LA, NY, Dallas...) and as of now there are only 3 teams that have purchased a slot -25 million to buy one-. Instead of major tournaments we will have a league. Roster mania will be crazy this year.
Jinji a lot of team CEOs have not bought a slot ( I suppose its very risky to invest 25 million into a new format that nobody knows how well it will go. )

Some of y’all mfers don’t understand a damn thing. CoD next year is introducing franchising. This basically means that is following the same route as the NBA, NFL, MLB, etc. Teams will most likely be placed in cities and be bought out by high dollar companies and/or corporate entities. So what does this mean for champs? 2019 champs was the last of its kind most likely. There’s no telling what the future holds but this is a humongous change. IMO cod has sort of died over the years and this a step in the right direction. EITHER WAY CHANGE IS COMING SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL TRY TO BE POSITIVE OR SOMETHING.
