Thanks for watching everyone! We appreciate all you guys/gals We just broke 80K subs, the Addicted Family is growing!! 🤘🎣
Addicted Fishing Eric Swanson should be featured more often.
Addicted Fishing what part of the Willamette would you recommend fishing?
Does the 65 pound braided line create blow back?
hey marlin, what speed would you generally troll at?
Like I said before and I'll say it again tutorials with Eric are the best tutorials you guys have he is amazing he speaks clearly talks in detail explains everything perfectly I will say Jordan does a great job as well but this guy's the best you need to keep him on this channel as a regular regular!
Let's talk about the 4 bottles of lemon joy in the back. 👏 great job guys, thank you!
Great video crew. When I get my first boat, I’ll be using these techniques on the water for springers
Love Eric!! He's so calculated and thorough
Thx to Eric for all the info. He makes it look so easy
Great video Marlin very informative good job Swanson👍👍👍👍
Frozen and "unthawed," are both frozen lol! Unthawed is freezing. Thawed, would no longer be frozen. Frozen and Thawed. Sorry, I'm a chef and kitchen manager. This drives me nuts!
What a fantastic video!! I took a screen shot of my CZcams recommendations. You're currently running a flash sale on your flashers. Directly above that CZcams ad, this 2 year old video! Is that a crazy coincidence, or are you able to bring an old video to the top, to coincide with your ad? Either way, it worked! As a newer boat owner, only having targeted salmon by fly fishing, and that was 30 years ago, I'm learning so much from you guys! I'll be putting it all to good use, very soon!
Really great info!! That is awesome!!
Great video guys!!
Time to book a trip with Eric!
Awesome stuff as always guys!! Congrats on over 80k subs!! I have learned a ton since coming across your channel. Need a Bash in southern Idaho. I would be there for sure!!
I've been using this setup for years down here in the Coos Bay area. Works great.
Absolutely perfect tutorial. Taking notes and will mirror your set up. Thank you ADX and Eric. Keep 'em coming!
Over 80K subscribed. Good job guys.
We tried this on the lower umpqua a few years ago. Its not a tactic used on that system on this run. That I know of anyway. We were all by ourselves dragging herring around. People that live on the river were yelling from their decks "what are you guys trolling for"? We tried it several times never picked up any fish. Gave it up. It was on a decent return year too. This vid makes me wanna try it agian!
Fantastic guide. I very much appreciate it man, hope the karma bite blesses you for years for this 😉
Wow great vid, going out this weekend :) thanks guys
In the main Columbia How deep of water do stop fishing the bottom? And when fishing suspended what depth do you target
Great job Eric
I like your tutorials Eric
Amazing content cant wait for springs
What i have found, I like using fluorocarbon for leader, its stiffer than mono, keeps thinks straight
Thank you for this VERY informative instruction. Great stuff!
This was exceptional!
Have you guys considered ikejime style fish bleeding? Maybe I just like the tool they use?
Good job guy's!!!
Fantastic tutorial!!
Wondering how this rigging would hold up using a diver in the Sound.... diving only about 30-40 feet for Coho... Any suggestions?
2:20 love those reels
Such an awesome reel! A true workhorse.
So that water clarity for leader length. Does that also apply with lures or only when using herring? Overall great advice thank you!
Ever use a Luhr Jensen Jet Diver in front of a prawn or spinner blade?
Eric rocks!!!
9:12 big secret that soap
Was just wondering do coho usually run about 2 Ft above the bottom like chinook do or more close to the top.
Can you anchor fish this same setup ?
@addicted fishing what pound line are you using for the cannon ball dropper?
Solid video. Thanks for posting! I see seven "thumbs down". WTF?
Nikwax is excellent!
What model is that Okuma reel? Curious about line capacity. New to this.
hey my name is Kai i live in Alaska ,Im 13 and I make my own Flys. Im thinking about starting my own fly business and have been creating some new flys but my fly rod broke. so I want to send you guys some flies to use, how could I do that, thanks.
ikaia kamai I’m 13 in ny and I fly fish too
My fly rod also broke but the same one is getting replaced soon
20 to 30ft of water ... would 8oz be ok for weight? In light current? Thank you
Eric says if your line is out the back or straight down you need to adjust weight... can't that also mean u need to adjust speed?
Do you guys like the 1062H or the XH for trolling?
Is this setup the same for fall chinook? Do you troll at 3-5mph ? Thanks!
Could any of this be applied to lake trout later in the summer?
john smarc Hmmm! I bet so!
You guys turn me on to nikwax a few months ago wow it does what it says it does it's amazing
Sweet
No River names Marlin HAHAHA
Dropped a river name!? Whaaaaa? Lol thats a first
I’m so mad they closed Oregon fishing for non residents
Me too... 😭
Why? Dumb question, but really why?
Kelly Covey “covid-19”
Rip luckily im a resident
@@MessianicJudaism to comply with stay at home order. Washington is a highly infected state and the oregon/ wa/Idaho fisheries work together to come up with the best solutions for all 3 states. Wa closed first then Oregon only closed the Columbia to comply with their states orders.
How come you guys on the columbia don't use hoods on your herring?
TheWelton49 Some anglers do, just don’t see it as often.
What are those rod holders you use
Played golf today with 200 people on the tee sheet...but can't fish with my family in my own boat...hmmm
We need to elect politicians who enjoy fishing.. I was going to run for mayor..but I went fishing instead.
What's the trolling speed?
Wait so salmon are in the rivers up there this time a year??
Yup.
Why does it matter if the eyes are bloodshot if you cut the head off?
Good question!😂
@@rockytalkndawoods3057 The clearer the eyes the fresher the fish.
Noice
Sorry tuff line sucks, because it is flat... power pro is the way to go, it is round🥰
tlpoutdoorsman whatever floats your boat! It will fish!!
Hell anything will fish! Monofilament will fish, string will fish, bi-mart 2$ 500 yard spool of super coil will fish. Don't let your ego flat line get in a Twist . That's why when new gear comes out with improvements the sportsman spends millions of dollars a year for the little extra edge. Hell my 50 year old red and white bobber will fish! But the NEW addicted floats .................... GOTCHA!
P.s. the flat line tends to get more line twists, versus the round power pro.
Anyone else have trouble with sound?
Lol I see how it is, no river names till it's just us Oregonians left so now you blow up our rivers! Haha
Fishy dayz Columbia & Willamette Rivers have always been exempt.
@@AddictedFishing any in Washington rivers that are exempt? Never been up there to fish.
why dont you guys ever use mooching reels? I find its the absolute funnest way to catch any salmon, especially springs. Are mooching reels just a canadian thing? Thats all we troll with in British Columbia at least.
