I reckon if the other independents and the non serious candidates weren't standing then Andrew could have unseated Starmer. But then again some will just vote the colour red, regardless of the individual. North Durham for instance, Luke Akehurst got and he's never lived there before or done any work the area. The guy literally inserted himself as a candidate through the Labour NEC. Labour is the complete opposite of it was when it was founded by Keir Hardie.

probably you are not aware of the complex history here.
the jews are connected to this lanmd for 3,500 years by religion, language nation and culture.the arabs come to this land much later in the 7 th century from the gulf/arab to colonize the region by the sword.the present day palestinians are decendecnts of these arabs by religion, laguage and dna.
britian did not give any land to the jews or the muslims.both nations were living in this region when the british took over from the ottoman empire at the end of ww1.
the british mandate lasted till 1947 when the british handed the issue to th UN. the un voted to partion the land with half for the muslims and half for the jews.the jews acceppted the compromise and declared independence, the muslims rejected the compromise and the arab countries declared war on israel and promised the palestinians the entire region.
at the end of the 1948 war the jordaniens took jerusalem and the west bank, the syrians took golan and egypt took sinai and gaza.
none of the arab countries offered to set up an independent palestine or to gove them autaunomy.

"There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not." -- Arab Princeton Professor, Philip Hitti, before the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry in Jerusalem in 1946.
"We [Palestinians] were never an independent state in history, we were part of an Arab state and an Islamic state.” -- Palestinian Hamas Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahhar (quoted in The Economist, February 2, 2008)
If Palestine were an Arab state, at any point in recorded history, why was there no mention of them? Because there never was an Arab Palestinian nation, nor any nation called Palestine, ever.
In 1964 Yasser Arafat visited Moscow, USSR. While there, the Soviet KGB (secret service) developed a strategy for him. Arafat would be the leader of a new organization named PLO, Palestinian liberation organization. The KGB recommended that the Arabs create a new identity for themselves that would called Palestinian.
So where are the geographical roots of the so called Palestinians???????
Hamas Minister of the Interior and of National Security Fathi Hammad, aired by Al-Hekma TV on March 23, 2012. Stated..........we all have Arab roots, and every Palestinian, in Gaza and throughout Palestine, can prove his Arab roots - whether from Saudi Arabia, from Yemen, or anywhere. We have blood ties. Personally, half my family is Egyptian. We are all like that. More than 30 families in the Gaza Strip are called Al-Masri ["Egyptian"]. Brothers, half of the Palestinians are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis. Who are the Palestinians? We have many families called Al-Masri, whose roots are Egyptian. Egyptian! They may be from Alexandria, from Cairo, from Dumietta, from the North, from Aswan, from Upper Egypt. We are Egyptians.

Tbh, it's sad to see the war between Palestine and Israel, but for real now, going around in a city or town and screaming ( Free Palestine ) and waving with some flags?
    Is that going to help?
Is it going to bring back life from the war?
Is that going to help to build up back Palestine?
    NO!!!
A lot of Palestine civilians, joined the attack WITH Hamas and crossed the Israel border, and took a lot of Israel hostage's, And now Activists want ppl to support Palestine's #Terorist
No thank you... I will always support Israel.

Ukraine is in war, Where is their flags?
    Why not wave with them?
