When you said “when I search on Pinterest, all you see is white girls with CURLED hair”- thank you! No one understands the difference when I say this. If I add the word “natural” to my search, the results page is black hair which is completely opposite of the previous results.. My curl pattern is very curly, but not the same kind of curl as black girls, who’s pattern is usually tighter/kinkier.
So thank you for being the only other person who understands what I mean 😮💨

100% correct. The videos SAY they are curly/wavy but they all start out with straight and the stylist creates the curls and waves. This is NOT reality for those of us who have natural curls and waves with a mid of their own. Thanks you for the honest video. 🥰💗✝🌞🌛

Agree Pinterest “curly pixies” are just caucasian curls that used a curling iron OR pixie wigs. I was literally just on Pinterest and that’s what brought me to CZcams and YOUR video so THANK YOU LOL but yeah you definitely do need a trim so your curls bounce a little better. But over all you’re super pretty.
Last time I got my hair cut they cut it so short waiting for it to grow back 😥

I have wavy hair... I can't finger coil no matter what... what puzzles me is that I had really tight curls when was little. then mom cut it shoulder length and boom curls disappeared from existence.... years of damage and using wrong products by thinking yeah I have straight-ish hair...

There's definitely an easier way to make these curls hold up, one tip is to change the comb you're using.
