夏に元気な樹種は、盆栽向き、、、太陽に向かって、枝をぐんぐん伸ばします。
すると、枝があっという間に太って、繊細な枝先とは言えなくなってしまいますね。
分かっていても、忙しさからつい剪定が遅れてしまいます。
さて、今回の動画では、どうにも気になってきた幾つかの徒長枝をを急いで剪定しました。
落葉時や葉刈り時の剪定とは違い、細部にはあまりこだわりません。
ただ、伸びすぎた枝を切り戻すのみです。
Tree species that are active in summer are suitable for bonsai.
They often grow their branches vigorously toward the sun.
However, these branches quickly become thick and the tips of them lose their delicateness.
Even if you know this, you end up delaying pruning due to your busy schedule.
In this video, I quickly pruned the long branches of some tree species that I was concerned about.
Unlike pruning when leaves fall, this pruning proceeds without worrying about details.
Here I simply cut back the branches that have grown too long.

Hot on and off here too! Completely understand trimming fast for now. That one Premna has such a thick trunk, how old is that? I can see your pyracantha in the yellow pot is going to be fabulous this fall 💮. My bonsai work station is outside as well, please stay hydrated out there 💧.
