- So the character Buffy was a reference to Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" because she did play in "I know what you did last summer" as Helen who was part of the beauty pagent, bffs with Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and dated Berry. She was also a part reference to Tatum, who has a brother that is part of the police force. Also, on here in the locker room with the killer, the way she was asking if he wanted to play psycho character and wants her to play helpless victum in "Scream" just before she was killed. Aswell with the girl who was killed in Cindy's garage about being a day player, lol.
- The character Greg on here is a reference to Berry (Ryan Phillippe) from
I Know What You Did Last Summer. The drunk guy in the car standing up, hostility towards Julie about the cops, boxing/shower/picture left at his locker scene and his death scene on the balcony during the pagent. Greg/Buffy relationship references Berry/Helen in IKWYDLS.
- The character Ray on here was playing 3 characters Ray from "IKWYDLS" (with the name reference), Stu from Scream (The kitchen scene in final act), and
Phil Steven's from Scream 2 (Getting stabbed in the movie theater bathroom).
- Bobby character has a little bit of a reference to Ray from "IKWYDLS" as well because he was the driver in the car but mostly Billy from "Scream."
- Gail Hailstorm and Doofy lol Gail Weathers and Dewey.
- In Scary Movie, Cindy's last name is Campbell, which is Neve (Sidney Prescott), last name. Cindy was playing two characters, Sidney in "Scream" and Julie in "IKWYDLS". Bobby/Cindy relationship references Billy/Sidney from Scream and Ray/Julie from IKWYDLS
- The character Shorty Meeks was a small reference for Randy Meeks in "Scream" who was shot in the shoulder and the rules guy. His character also plays reference to Jack Black character in "I still know what you did last summer" as the white Jamaican who smokes. Him telling the rules on a video tape at the end was from "Scream 3" where he makes a video on making rules. His sister Brenda Meeks was a reference for Brenda also in "ISKWYDLS" played by Brandy and then Maureen Evans kill scene in "Scream 2".
Originally, Scream was going to be the title of "Scary Movie," but Kevin Williamson changed it, so it ended up being used for the parody movies.
This Scary Movie was about Scream, Scream 2 the movie theater/bathroom scene, Scream 3 (Shorty making a video at the end),
I know what you did last summer, Halloween like Y'all pointed out (killer standing by the tree watching it's victim through the window), Friday the 13th (the Jason theme chant), American Pie (Bobby/Cindy s*x scene with say my name), the Blair witch project, Urban Legend (parked car with the girl where the boyfriend is already dead outside), the sixth sense, The usual suspects (Doofy taking off his disguise slowly at the end while walking), the Matrix, and of course a very brief Dawson's Creek 😂 (James Van Der Beek as Dawson at Cindys window during Dawson's Creek theme song was playing saying "wrong set").

Looked this up after no reactor knew what it was - A Day Player is an actor who is on set for a short time, usually only a single day of filming.

@@TwoReelEntertainment unfortunately I can't remember when it came out but it's a underrated parody like scary movie. I think it came out at the end of the 90s or at the beginning of 2000s.
