We need more kisses just like this in BL, no loud background music that doesn’t fit the scene or distracts from the moment, taking away from the intensity and passion of the scene.
A scene like this where it’s just silent except for the sounds of their breathing and the kissing, where you can literally hear the desire and desperation between the two characters. Jen’s moans too… like JEEEZ. Wow. WOW!
This kiss - whilst it shouldn’t have happened, was so intense and passionate. I replayed it so many times.
We seriously need more kisses like this in BL’s in the future.

Thai directors seem to love when actors move veeeery slow and long pauses between dialogues. this one paired it with a neck craning exercise to bridge a gap between two beds
They do use it a lot, I absolutely agree. But the pauses and hesitation made sense in this case though
PLS this is exactly why I took a break from Thai BL for almost a year 😭 the unnatural pauses were KILLING me skksjoscj

Some moments call for the long pause between eye contact and kiss, but not all the time. Haven’t seen one show get it right yet.

There’s heavy breathing that shows lust and desire between the two 2:27 2:39 there’s also desperation 2:35 2:45 that shows they both were looking for this moment. And both are so wrong for this. Jen for moving closer 1:43 and leaning in 1:53 looking for the kiss to happen and Jaab for letting it happen when he could have recoiled 1:57 but he has been in love with Jen, he has been getting mixed signals and I in no way am justifying him, but he had a moment of weakness where he was led on by Jen, as if Jen is playing with his feelings, because you cannot tell me Jen is too oblivious and stupid not to see the devotion and adoration in Jaab’s eyes when he looks at him. Jaab is hopelessly in love and he is also the one apologizing 3:15 and seems like this kiss left a bad taste in Jen’s mouth, but I don’t know if they really care about the boyfriend anymore, especially Jen 2:51 he hasn’t a grown on me, he’s really confusing.
I hope they tackle the cheating in a realistic way and not just in a way where the boyfriend is a decoration and these two will be together and “happily ever after” something I hope doesn’t happen like that. The boyfriend seemed like a nice and sweet one, he doesn’t deserve this, no one does 😞
I have to applaud both actors for the delivery of this kiss and the director for just wanting the sound of their heavy breathing and for choosing a position that could be cringe and awkward, but it was the best that played well with their desperation. I love it more when the scenes are raw like this with no intrusive background music. We want to hear the actors not an OST or an annoying melody as it happens at times 🤷♀️

Oh! Absolutely right. I am dieing by this scene, I really do because of my mixed feelings while watching it. I really like Jaab and I wish he would get what he loves but Jen is in a relationship and like you said Jaab is so obviously with his feelings and as a best friend Jen must know that. Also it's not the first time they got close to eachother. But I feel sorry for the boyfriend. Like you said no one deserves to be cheated!
Anyway, all from the director to the actors this is great work and one of the best kisses I saw this year ❤

@@moonwolf6687 It’s not the first time, but they played it safe before, making ambiguous remarks and having some closeness and holding into a touch, just a touch but we could see Jaab’s love was not one sided. I really like Jaab as well and I’m hoping he doesn’t become a home wrecker, engaged in an affair, but I know he doesn’t have the intention to break a relationship, he’s just stupidly in love with someone taken, with his best friend 😔

Jaab is in such a bad place right now. He's getting all kinds of mixed signals from Jen and it's messing with his head. He knows Jen has a boyfriend, and knows how he feels about Jen, but Jen is all over the place with his actions. I would find that absolutely frustrating if I was in Jaab's shoes.
