This has become one of our favorite campgrounds and locations where we try to return every year. The town of Cleveland, GA has many of the amenities needed for both a short or long term stay. The location is perfect for those short drives to the quaint towns of Helen and Dahlonega, a growing list of excellent vineyards and wineries, and some of the best hiking trails offering beautiful views of mountains and waterfalls.

I believe it was there that we rented a lovely cabin for several days.
That's the place Jean. The cabins have since been sold and now that area has been set up for pretty long term spots.

rode thru Cleveland 2 weeks ago. stopped at Rib Country bbq there for dinner. excellent Carolina bbq!!!
Rib Country BBQ has a good breakfast too.
We can't go to North Georgia without a stop at Rib Country.

We have been in Hiawassee for the past month. Drove thru Leisure Acres on one of our trips to Cleveland. Gonna give it another try next year. We had reserved a spot there last year and had a major issue with a staff member. We were unable to stay but want to try again. Hopefully that staff member will not be there because we love the park and Cleveland. Great video.

We were up there in site 91 in August. Have stayed there a few times.

Hello Jerry, we are coming to Leisure Acres in the coming days and plan to cram in all the great things to do in a short amount of time. We won't have time to see all the wineries, but I was hoping you could tell us the winery with the best view, even on a cloudy day. Thank you for any info you can share.
Our two favorites with great views are Cottage in Cleveland with Mount Yonah in the distance and Stonewall Creek in Tiger with beautiful views of the vineyard. Plus they both have very good estate wines. Have fun.
Love it when a campground is spacious and has plenty of areas to explore. Looking for a shady spot for our pop up.

What did they charge for long-term stay?

Do they have tent sites or is it RV only?
Scott, this is an RV campground only. The state parks in the area support tent camping.

We left last Saturday.
Well dang, I’m a Deputy in the co and drove though today wanting to meet y’all. I thought I saw y’all’s rv at the site but no one around, Maybe I’ll catch ya next time, I’ve Ben following for a bit. Have you been to Ft Yargo, we’re going next month, looks nice. We stay a lot at Don Carter. Keep up the great video’s
Will be back. A favorite spot of ours. Hope we see you next go round. We haven't traveled to either of those. We'll check them out
