Is the location in C5 Sedan same as avant?
My alarm on my c6 goes off at random times I replaced the horn and it still happens, can I drive the car with it unplugged as I only want to be able to lock the car I don't care about the alarm sounding

That would be the Bose amp, which is attached to the sub. Hope that helps :-)

You can but mount it in the engine bay and run the wire to the alarm module in the car.
!!! Dont remove the entire boot wall panel if you dont need to! I was able to easily access the bolt shown in this video through the panel hatch without the need to remove the boot wall. I did it with an adjusty spanner which was not ideal but would have been easy with ratchet spanner. Just be careful not to drop the bolt.
