To be honest, they totally got me with this episode. With how much darker the series got, I actually started believing in the worst outcome before the conclusion was shown. Damn Wiseman, you are an awesome troll!
It could still come true. It reminded me alot of identity crises. While I love that book I don't want it for the show. Once you kill family member there is no going back for the characters or the tone. I mention it in my review.

Some of the kids would tank it no problem. Jonathan would be mildly miffed by the blast at most.
Raphael Khan Neptune's trident is a magic based weapon which kryptonians are vulnerable too so yes the trident would kill him too.
I like to see the children of the superheroes and everything but it makes me feel more sad for Damian, because all the children are there, playing and laughing, but he will not have a childhood like that.

This is simply amazing, the way Young Justice incorporates legacy characters is just great. Cassandra Cain is finally in the show! Not only do we have the Tornado Twins and the Super-Sons, but in this universe Lian Harper is actually older than Damian and Jon Kent! Now I just need teen Conner Hawke and Kyle Rayner interacting and my life will be complete.

Im glad they dont take the marvel approach (youre dead here's a burger king kids club knockoff so on and so on) which is just a total detriment to the characters. But to be fair miles is good and ms marvel easily is better than current captain marvel although thats not saying much and isnt hard of a feat to accomplish

A big part of why Young Justice is great is precisely because it's all about DC legacies. Sadly Dan Didio is effectively back behind the top editorial reins at DC Comics and he has never been shy about his general dislike for legacy, namely why he's tried to get characters like Dick Grayson and Wally West killed off and shuffled to the side as much as he does and recently succeeded... DC Rebirth was on such a positive trajectory for nearly 2 years until Didio somehow got more power back at DC Comics and brought Brian freaking Bendis with him, who has been ruining the Superman family ever since he took over those books.
@@Tyler_W Didio and Jim Lee were the ones responsible for the New 52 reboot which damaged all legacy characters and their relationships in the DC universe. When Geoff Johns became CCO of DC comics, he decided to fix their mess by launching DC Rebirth, which was a return to the hopeful and optimistic DC Universe. But now, as soon as Johns stepped down as CCO, Didio brought the dark and grim feeling again with Heroes In Crisis, and Tom King's awful Batman run. Though I hate Bendis' recent work at Marvel and DC, he wrote a good 1st issue of Young Justice, so lets see if he improves.

I loved the concept that the reason why supervillains never decided to attack the people that the superheroes loved, is because their response could be catastrophic for both the supervillains and the world, very smart and original. My only problem is that the light knows the secret identities of the justice league? They should have known seing how ocean master was there, if they know, Why not they didn't revelead their identities?

Can you imagine Conner and Jon interacting? Its actually never happened in the comics since Conner has been dead (and just came back last week) and Jon was only added to the New 52 universe in 2016.

I absolutely love this scene. I love seeing the superhero parents and non-superhero parents coming together and allow their children to have a play date. It's nice to see little moments like this because these children could one day be the next generation of superheroes after their parents. Plus, they're gonna be childhood friends too. I seriously love this series and season! Thank God they brought it back!

Being bart has gotta be weird af. His dad gonna end up calling him uncle bart before long not even realizing it's his son. Bart will grow into the flash and die eventually leaving his father to believe he was truly just his uncle then don will have a son name him bart in honor of his uncle without even realizing they're the same person.
Or if Don and Dawn asked, Bart is their cousin, or honorary cousin to not find out the truth of their relation to one another. Once the Tornado Twins turned to their teens, they would be shocked to hear who Bart really was once Meloni (Bart's mother) shows up to the past in Season 5 or 6.

Kind of weird that Jon appears to look older than Damien in YJ when it’s the other way around, well before DC aged up Jon with time travel. I always liked the banter between them when Damien said Jon can’t be a Teen Titans since wasn’t a teen yet.

I like how the Circle of Light keeps tabs on the superheroes' families, which is terrifying but also smart because of Injustice.
Seeing all these families having fun together had me smiling the entire episode

So let me get this straight. Orm plans on taking out the heroes’ kids because they are “soft targets”. Yet inside we have: 1. Mera (top sorceress of Atlantis, could arguably 1v1 Orm). 2. Rocket (held her own against Wonder Woman as a teenager). 3. Red Tornado (described as one of the powerhouses of the League). 4. Red Arrow (retired, but still incredibly skilled). 5. Impulse/Kid Flash. 6. Bumblebee (albeit pregnant, but still). Orm was never all that smart. He's too goal oriented. It blinds him to thinking about how others will be able to stop him. All he wanted was revenge and to hurt people, who cares about anything else, in his mind.
He’s plan was essentially snipe them with his trident. With all of them of guard even if heavy hitters like Tornado and Mera survived , the major would’ve been killed in the initial attack

There not married. They broke up as Jade couldn't leave the life. She probably just feels stuck in the life. Think about her parents. I'm sure Artemis and Red Arrow wont get together.

It's heartbreaking knowing how good these children are being treated and raised and when Damian is this age he's being treated like shit. I feel so bad for him because he's so serious but sometimes his child side comes out and you feel how bad he just wants to be a kid but he just wasn't raised or "programmed" that way

Some people forget that we are still in his childhood. So he has a chance. It breaks my heart when his child side pops out. Like in the Batman Vs Ninja Turtles. He was so serious but when he saw Mikey press all the buttons in the Batmobile, Damian was so sad and was like " awww man, I always wanted to press all the buttons" and how he was so excited for being allowed to eat a slice of pizza.. Red Arrow stay at home full time Dad because Cheshire is off being an assassin, Aquababy and Mera, the Tornado twins and Impulse looking after his dad and aunt as babies, Rocket and Bee are moms, Lois and Superman have Jon, and Red Tornado is the fun uncle!

Great episode. Especially when Shiva tells Ocean Master that basically if he kills the leagues kids they will completely come at the Light full force and without restraint. Something the light knows is a dangerous and dumb thing to do, screwing with the superheros babies. And it shows the sliver of baseline humanity that at least Luther Savage Raz al'gul and Manta still have. I doubt Clarion, brain, or queen B would agree however out of fear, not principle.
