- By using these videos we tried to illustrate most of the Rail Signalling principles used for Indian Railways as well as British Rails. The working Model has a capability to work in different operating modes, like PI or RRI. The British type Solid State Interlocking used in this working model is based on FPGAs and CPLDs.

Entire panel that we built was exact scale replica of actual panels used in Railways. We built our own domino's as well 🙂🙂

Sir may I know how do controlling These signals...by any communications methods or any automatically Software method or any physical way
Signal status is decided by SSI (solid state interlocking) which is FPGA based. However in this model the signal status is communicated from SSI to actual signal posts by parallel parallel lines. You can use any serial comms protocol considering the cost of encoders and decoders at all signals or atleast 1 encoder and decoder per zone..

White light ka kya meaning hota h jo ptri ke beech me hote h
In Indian Railways, white light signals are known as shunting signals and are used to move the trains in side the station limit or yard limit. Like other signals these signals are also placed next to track not inside the track.

Aap k panel par 1 hi yellow nazar aata he to dabal yellow k liye kon sa batton hota he
Yellow ke baad double yellow nahi, double yellow ke baad yellow aata hai. Double yellow signal is an indication to driver that next coming signal is Yellow. This combination of double yellow and yellow helps driver to prepare for reducing speed as next to yellow there is high chance of having Red signal.
