Try putting peanut butter in a mouse trap.
We had a mouse problem at our last home that got pretty bad, and had to hire a service. Didn't work.
Then we tried putting peanut butter in the mouse traps and that did the trick!
Yes, peanut butter is the best bait for snap traps. We had much better luck with glue traps tho. Keeping the dog food in a metal bin will help keep the mice out of it and not leaving it out all day for the dog to graze will help too. The more you can get food and nesting sources locked away, the better. Patching holes or using tin foil to block gaps around doors and windows helped us too. I’m wondering if the mice are contributing to the health problems? Lots of hard work to clean up but the room looks great!
I would put the alligator head on the shelf with the antlers or hang it under the turtle shell. Love all of the things from nature. I have an Emu egg,Ostrich egg and various other bird eggs,also a real nest,etc.

Yes, you do not want him chewing your wiring. Try peppermint essential oil & if you have to shove steel wool in cracks & holes.

Happy Sunday! I grew up on farm, we had the best Cat mouser in the country. We still had mice that were wanting to camp out, lol in our 2 story farmhouse. It’s sounds terrible butI would always bait my wooden mouse traps with peanut butter and that solves the problem! It truly does.

Love the room.... but my favorite is the sweet "thankful" card with Jesus on the cross. Great job on the room, but more importantly great job on being a wonderful mama to those sweet kiddos. Those babies arise every day and call you blessed! 🥰
If you can’t recycle, one option is to shred the cardboard wet it in a bin, add worm bin worms. add food scraps and create awesome soil to start a garden. Search up 3 bin worm bins. Keep moist. You’ll be amazed how fast the worms convert it all to soil. ❤
Just use good old fashion mouse traps, they work fine. And girl, my basement is an absolute mess. Some day ill get the bug to go down and clean it 😃
First of all prayers that hydrating will help with the contractions, as long as you take your time as you well know after 3 children I trust you will be fine. Older homes have so much character as well issues with windows. I love your home so much, thank you for sharing. Have a blessed week❤❤❤

It doesn't matter how long it takes as long as you take care of yourself. I love how "real" you are. The room looks great! I'd love having a room like that.
A week and a half is amazing! My projects usually take much longer. This winter, I started painting my small powder room and it took my 3 weeks to finish. I was just so busy that I only had 30-60 minutes at a time. I give myself grace for things taking longer and am just thankful that I can eventually get things done. So definitely don't feel bad that it takes longer then you think.
Just be sure if you are drinking a lot of water that you get enough sodium. A lot of water can really throw that off and cause a lot of problems with your electrolytes. You can google it. Also, it sounds tacky, but you should get some of that plastic sheeting that you put over your windows with your hairdryer. If you make the edges even it's usually hard to tell it's even on there. Curtains, even sheers help hide edges. It works unbelievably well. (I've lived in old farm houses with no storm windows and always used it successfully.) Sometimes I've even had to go over and touch it to see that it was there. Do a little, sit with your feet up, do a little more. Pace yourself to take care of you and that baby.

It looks WONDERFUL! I was born in 1955 and my grandparent's house out in CA had a room very similar to that that my granddad built on. It was his Native American room and had types of Indian artifacts, collectibles, pots, you name it and your room brings back those sweet memories of spending time in Granddad's Indian room. And, it truly was mid century. I love it. I would never leave. But, I freeze ALL the time and would have to have a roaring fire back there, lol. In the summer I would be fine. Great video sweetie. This reminds me of our sunroom! I fought not putting a tv out there because I loved to go out there and read. We bought a new sofa with a chase and the TV we know are out there instead of our living room.

Bubble wrap on windows is a good insulater, light can still come in.

Happy Sunday Kristen, before we moved to the city . I had a veranda like yours , with windows all around. My husband hung up bamboo curtains for me . I used the veranda as my den . When it was really hot or very cold I keep the curtains down . On days when the weather was perfect , the curtains stayed up . Worked out perfectly, for me . I sat out there to read my bible & take notes . And scrapbook. Blessings to you and your family 🌺💞🌸

Please don't exhaust yourself. I had early contractions and wound up on 3 months of bedrest. My hubby had to feed me...girl, you have no idea how hungry I was because he didn't want me to snack. Your projects are big ones, these days.

Trying a make a seasonal sun room into a full time room won't work unless you redo all those windows. It may be better to use it as a porch with outdoor furniture than trying to make it a regular living area. Too cold or too hot. It seems it needs a updating, maybe time to do all the windows in your house.

I live in an old farm house. I use the black boxes baited with peanut butter. That box zaps them quick and a flashing light tells you so. Ours is a Victor and was less than $20. Reclaim your sanity!!
Shout out for the gator on the turntable , coffee table was great place for your other decor pieces , pictures looked great everywhere you put them too . I have a heard time fetting rid of coats just because our weather here in Nebraska can be so crazy. It might be 75* one day and snowing the next. And, of course, you have to have a work winter coat and a dress winter coat, too.😂 I love the room and have wondered if you used it much in the winter. Now I know.😊
I think that it was Cass from Clutterbug who said, “Make a way to store things where they naturally keep piling up”. At 31:05, could you put the two baskets that are under the bench,up on the bench on the right side? Then put your flattened cardboard under there until it’s full,then somebody puts a coat on and takes it outside to burn or go to a recycle center. (It’s a fact of life that everyone gets more packages these days and they need a temporary holding space in the fall,winter and spring.)

I love how real and relatable you are. I'm a mother of 3, and my youngest is special needs, so I get so behind on household things at times to. Im also a working mother. I want to stay home with my kids so bad but were just not in a position where i can do that yet. I love your channel and content you put out. It's so inspiring.

*Electronics Recycling* . Do check with your local Staples, I know that in some states, they accept electronics for recycling and you receive credits for it. I have a "catch all" space too and like you, I'm temperature sensitive. In Upstate NY, there is a narrow window of time between too cold, and sweating bullets in my attic space. I don't store anything of value in the basement because of the humidity (do run a dehumidifier), but even with a sump pump, it's gotten very wet when heavy rains or snow melt happen. My garage is my happy storage space. It's dry, and has better air circulation than my other options. No shame in the energetic game. At 57, I just accept that's it's going to take me longer to complete a project, and I'm okay with that.
