Stanley Okorie performs hit Nollywood tracks ‘Billionaire’ ‘Happy Mumu’ and ‘Chop Life’

- You know his hit soundtracks ‘Billionaire’, ‘Happy Mumu’ and ‘Karishika from the thousands of songs he has made for Nollywood soundtracks over the painting years. He is on track for a Guinness World Record for the sheer volume and vitality of his brilliance - over 10,000 songs.
Some of the most precious songs from my childhood watching Nollywood movies have come from his heart - ‘Iyeme’ in Chain Reactions, ‘You and I’ from Conspiracy and the soundtrack from the Kate Henshaw film ‘Compromise’ that stole my heart when I was in high school.
And what a heart - he says those songs connect deeply with us because his heart has been broken too many times. By a father who didn’t believe in his music, by divorces, and losing a wife and a child to the tragic hands of death.
He says he knows sadness, he knows sorrows… but he also knows joy, and he knows what it means to love and be loved.

Chude looks like a very honest person. Someone who has worked so much on his humanity and you can feel his humanity just by listening to him. Been following since 30k followers.
Much love from Cameroon🇨🇲
I remember when I was growing up, in all Nollywood movies you'll see Music Stanley Okorie. I'm glad I'm finally seeing the face behind the name. This man sure deserves an AMVCA. Tonton Chude please set this agenda and make this happen in the next AMVCA. This 1 no need category, they should just award him. A man who has songs for all scenarios 🙌🏾. Jesus I love you was a bomb; like you who didn't know the lyrics back then didn't know your purpose on earth😅. Too much talent.
I love this man❤❤❤❤ thank u for making our childhood memorable ♥️❤️
Chude!
This is the best episode of all people that you have featured on your channel. Stanley is a musical savant, he deserves a national merit award. He is connected to youthfulness. Thank you Stanley for sharing your wisdom, resilience, knowledge and your gift with us.

So, he sang "Jesus, I love you o" I listened to this song many times while growing up.❤😊
Besides the GCFR National Honour which is the exclusive reserve for the President, Stanley Okorie deserves the 2nd highest National Honour in Nigeria which is the GCON! His talent has positively affected Nigeria and the world at large compared to those self centred politicians all over the place!
This is mad talent.
Some people are like that, they just want to be at the background. But this talent would have fetched him more fame and money.
Weldone Stanley.
It's high time he gets his flowers and accolades
Very glad to see the face behind this long-time voice 🙌🏾
Very true.
I have one word "ICONIC"
And i thought it was Nkem Owoh's voice all along. It's so good to finally put a face to the voice.
This man sang I go chop your dollar not Nkem owoh
I also thought it was inkem Owoh
I knew Stanley Okorie as a musician back then.
Over the years, your talent has always amazed me. I'm happy you showed up for it. Who knows, maybe I'll ask you to perform for me someday.
So Stanley okorie sang "Jesus I love you". One of my best gospel songs ever. Please promote this guy to be known.
Love from Cameroon
Sometimes when movies do not seem to make sense to us, his songs give meaning to the film making us relate with it better. His songs are highly philisophical and they are poetries sometimes. He is a talent and am glad the movies industry did not miss him
Good to finally see the face behind the voice all these years ❤❤❤🎉
To see him getting his long deserved recognition, I genuinely prayed for this day cos I always knew we were sleeping on a legend. Way back as 2010, I usually categorized any Nollywood movie as a banger once I see soundtrack by Stanley Okorie, that was how I rated old Nollywood 😂😂😂 This truly gladdens my heart
Lol....
You really did??
This man is a legend!! 🔥🔥
For a live performance the music should have been performed live. There's no need giving the backups microphones because they're not using it at all. It's the sound track that's doing every work. At least, there should have been a live band performing with him.
So this is the Stanley okorie, a legend I only know by his name but haven't seen his face until now.
Amazing! What a voice texture. Feminine. He sings, suprano, Alto, No Bass nor him brother 😅❤❤
So this is the face behind the "imaginary" Stanley Okorie, the name that graced the movie credit slot "Music by" in most Nollywood movies of my time?
Stanley Okorie songs literally characterize the vibe and feel of Nigerian movies of the late 90s and 2000s
Wish I can like more than once
Me too💚!!
What???????????? So it’s this guy behind this songs . Oh my goodness 😂. Am google searching him right now.
"Jesus I love you" song was always played in the car by my dad on our way to church on Sunday morning. Stanley okorie The man The legend
Memories
this man is literally an unsung legend, jeez how did all these years pass without him being recognized
All he needs to blow is an active Instagram profile, no one needs to make him blow... This man made our childhood
Memories 😁😁😍😍🥰🥰 Thank you Chude for bringing this talent to our screens 🙏😍
Am happy to finally know the voice behind all interesting nollywood movies. Any time I hear this voice, I know the movie will be very interesting and sometimes bloody.😊
Honestly his songs makes music sweet
Always carried the viewers along.
Much love from Ghana.
You made our childhood beautiful ❤️
