In this video, I discuss what it means for two angles to be coterminal, and discuss a quick method on how to decide if two angles are in fact coterminal. Then I do a couple of examples of finding angles that are coterminal to each other.
Thanks bro! Now my grades are coterminal to the angle of passing
i think this dude helped me a lot in passing my math tests.
This is the only video that actually makes the most sense to me. Do you teach in a classroom? We need more great teachers like you in a classroom setting.
"Angles that put you at the same place." This expression helps me understand this whole concept immediately.
you could've just said: add or subtract 360 to any angle and you'll end up with a coterminal angle.
I was thinking the same. I remembered my teacher saying that a cotermial is, you know, a degree or radian that will end up at the same place as the original. and how do you do that? subtracting or adding 360.
Just watched 5 different coterminal angle videos before I found this one! Finally understand the main concept. Thank you so much!
The best explanation pls , i owe you a lot
Great technique Bro...
Exactly what I was looking for...
If I was a math teacher, I would just take naps and play your videos.
Man you literally save lives. Thank you for these videos.
Thank you this helped me to understand it better. THe textbook said to add or subtract 360 degrees but after watching your video I understand the concept better. Thank you!
Jesus this guy is 10x better than my calculus math teacher xD
Trestin Le the most college professors usually are old men with their loss of interest for math. They are like the robots in the class
somehow none of my college math professors ever come close to any of the amazing youtube math guys :/
Not to be rude, but maybe that's because you should already know this, this should have been introduced in Trig or Precalc.
You're a life savior. I thought I was going to have to get a math tutor.
Thank you for this video! I'm studying before school starts so I can have a bit of a head start!! XD
Thank you, nearly all of your videos are helping me through my ACT practice.
This helped out sooo much i just made a 100 on my homework assignment thanks to you!

Thanks man!
this really helped!
Now i understand, thx
thank you sir
no problem :)
why do you need to add 45 after rotating 360 degrees? doesn't that put you 45 degrees past the initial side?
THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH!!!
How to determine two angles which are coterminal to the given angle? Do I have to add and subtract 360?
WE LOVE U PATRICK U R THE ONLY REASON WE WILL PASS OUR REJENTS. TTYL XOXOXOOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO XOXOXOXOXOXOX XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO XOXOXOXO LOVE U BAE.

Thank you so so much!
What about 360 30'?
Thanks brow
thank you
I love you man
Do I always subtract when finding the co-terminal? or if subtracting by a negative add?
Thank you!
Thanks dude.
Thanks man!!
@patrickJMT Seriously! That's the way I understand it, you don't have to be mean about my methods.
thanks
Why do you do -30 - 135 instead of 135 - -30
can we call co terminal angles equivalent angles ? and thznks for ur help !
So I can add my reference to 360 and it gives me my coterminal angle?
Thanks for the vid
nice Vids brig I sub you short and very elaborate
Amazing!
thank u
Thank u so much
I love this guy 😍😘
hello
thank you for ur videos they are always very helpful
may i also ask you
HOW DO WE DETERMINE n FROM THE COTERMINAL ANGLES FORMULA
fasil adane dude ask that on the wiki page
fasil adane well you askef this 7 months ago lol
@bobbygoldsboroable If there's one thing I've learned about math in my years of it is....never question it, never try to look at it from a logical perspective, or as they say "don't think about it" and you WILL understand hahah trust me!
made my exam much easier thnx
The sad moment when CZcams teaches you more than your trig teacher
What do you mean when you say "it's not a multiple of 360? "
If you can divide something by 360, such as 360 can be divided by 360, equaling one, or 60, equaling six, then there is a coterminal. If you cannot, such as 360 is not divisible by 50, then there is no coterminal. You feel me?
Gotchu thanks
how will you know if it is subtraction or addtion?
You know if it is subtraction or addition by deciding if you are looking for positive or negative angles.
thank god
thank you :))
my niece is asking who is tat guy who is writing frm left hand so neatly✌
jesus shit i love you man
How about 5280 degrees?
-120
Thank you
I remember Them
