BSP D3 Gaming Controller 1 Year Later

- The BSP D3 gaming controller has made its rounds both here on CZcams, & the interwebs! I swear this was the most popular controller of 2022-2023 & I still get many gamers questioning how to do this that and the other thing with this device! I also get gamers saying they only paid $10 when I paid $30 but meh!
Today I'm just revisiting the controller after owning it for a year, I haven't put a lot of hours into it but after doing a minor fix to the left joystick and having success with sharing a guide to over 55 thousand gamers alike I wanted to share my thoughts!
Let me know what you think of this device, is cheap what everyone likes or does everyone like quality with a bit of overhead?

Thanks dude, I own way to many controllers and have tested so many other ones in the past that I couldn't believe this thing being as cheap as it is was the imo the controller of the year! In regards to the giveaway, keep doing what you're doing each comment is 1 entry from the first video that I stated this in currently approx 20 entries could be yours!

Could you do a teardown video please? I am having the same problem with my left thumbstick and I would like to do the same fix as you did.
How do you set the BackButton(M Button)
1. Hold SEL Button with BackButton (L or R one)
2. Hold until LED blinking fast
3. Press any key you want to set to the BackButton(the one you hold in Step 1)
4. Press again the BackButton that you hold on Step 1
5. Done

Just wanna add, that back button cannot work on android mode, so u have to use the Xbox controller mode. Well both mode are actually working on android phone, but i recommend to use the Xbox controller mode.
I had this and been using it for almost a year now. First of all I almost never had any issue with any of its inputs. Buttons works fine and responsive. Use it mostly when playing emulators. But after almost a year the left stick started to drift upward. Overall for its price and to last that long it's a good buy. Will try the d6 because of its dpad.
I have the D6/7 & D8 and love them both! I never liked the D3 only out maybe 1 hour of play into it over the last year where I've only had the D7/8 for shy of a month and out at least 16 hours on each!
Don't I had the d6 and it is a horrible controller with many flaws and didn't last me 2 months
Had the controller and it was bad and had many flaws and is now not working after 2 months

No that means in standby mode the battery shouldn't die.

Hey I do have a plan for this, if you mean setting everything up as in a standalone Android phone/device that is! I am waiting for a device to arrive for this however that's why I have yet to do so :D

I like backbone controllers, but I don't like repeatedly taking my protective case off my phone and putting it back on.

I might buy me one of these just to get my feet wet on android emulation. Might come up with a quick 3d printed dpad thingy to put over those buttons like I saw some people doing on the joycon.
I had one last year, 2023. Just after a few months of playing PPSSPP and Citra with it, the battery broke. It was probably because I wasn't using it's own charger and just used my phone's charger
This led me to getting an actual 3DS (OG Model)
Dang I still have mine and it seems to work for me even though I had to remove some plastic around the joysticks lol
@@DNAMobileGaming well i mean it was a good upgrade, because Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is choppy on the Citra emulator even with fps cheats. And the BSP D3 itself drifts after a long time of playing with it.

A Razer Kishi V1 is nowhere near $80. It was mostly around $40-45 for a long time. I can buy it for $30 right now(not including shipping)

@@DNAMobileGamingIt's a big scam lol. If we're talking about US Dollars, 80 is another level for these controllers. You can literally get Gamesir's newest controller G8 for that price. Check what it's if you haven't heard of it. It's a monster and miles ahead of Kishi

Well it was $30 in Canada which is a huge difference. The Razer Kishi is $129.99 plus tax and shipping in Canada as well. We must get screwed I guess.

I got a problem with this controller in winlator(windows emulator).
In xinput mode winlator can't see the R2 and L2 buttons and in Bluetooth mode it recognises left stick inputs as dpad aswell. Thats a bit dumb, now I have to play crysis with touch controls 😅
Have you tried Android Mode as I'm pretty positive you need to be in Android mode not xinput mode for Winlator.

Depends on your device but most devices support multiple Bluetooth devices at once.
Does it support software updates, if yes then how to perform it.
I have yet to find anything online about this however I know you can plug it into your PC and it acts as a Pro Controller when it is plugged in so it could possibly be updated but I honestly haven't went that far into it.

Yeah some like to use their controllers they already own with an attachment, my attachment broke for my Xbox One controller or I would have shown it in the video lol. The only downside I would say is when laying in bed you can't do this well without worrying about your phone falling on your face it has happened lmao!

What touchpad buttons? I don't own a PS4 either so not sure what you mean.

Adjusting the sensitivity is generally based in the settings of the game not the controller or at least not this one. Minecraft/Call of Duty you can change the sensitivity within the settings for example.

Yes, I would normally have had to pay €20, but in Aliexpress there is an "offers" section. You can't search for items there. You put the things you want in your shopping cart and wait 1-2 weeks and let do the algorythm his thing, then the same things come for 1/3 of the price (if these are available in the offer site thing) "pick 3 and save" thats the category called @@DNAMobileGaming

This guide will be helpful the device is Android as well but you'll be able to crank the resolution on the 8S Pro or S22 Ultra to 4x without question.

Have you tried forgetting the bluetooth connections on the phone and reconnecting? I noticed it can be weird sometimes, however I've moved on from this controller at this point might be a backup controller to make my own.

I had the bsp d6 and the cheap piece of garbage controller didn't even last 2 months and the controller had many flaws
Just don't buy the D6 lol, the D8 is the way to go

Not in Canada there isn't I just checked after you sent this and the cheapest even in AliExpress for this controller was $26 CAD. Currency and pricing is different everywhere even in the USA there's been confirmation of $20 USD 😄
