Thanks for doing different mallets! I would recommend getting pairs of different wrapping. Something like wool, yarn and cord will give enough variety I think.
That's a good idea! I have mostly yarn and wool, been trying to get more synthetic materials :)

Is Stars Above a Marimba Solo or Duo?
It is a 5 octave marimba duo :)
You said that the Wave bars are smaller than your Izzy. MO says this is not the case. Who is right? “4.3 or 5.0 octave rosewood bars. Identical in both size and quality as Izzy and 3100 bars”
