    Grape Wine Recipe:
Black Grapes (with seed) - 1 kg
    Sugar - 3 Cups (1 œ Cups + 1 œ Cups)
    Water - 1 litre
    Whole Wheat - 3 tbsp
    Cloves - 4 nos
    Cinnamon - 1-inch piece
    Cooking Instructions:
    1. Boil water and allow it to cool completely.
    2. Remove the stems from the grapes. Make sure there are no spoilt grapes. Wash and dry them completely. Tie the whole wheat in a pouch.
    3. Add in half the grapes in a completely dry glass or ceramic jar. Add in half the sugar.
    4. Add in the remaining grapes and sugar. Add the spices and the whole wheat on top.
    5. Pour in the cooled water into the jar.
    6. Cover with a cotton cloth and tie tightly. Allow it to rest for 21 days in a dark place.
    7. Stir every day for 1 week, and then stir every alternate day for the next 2 weeks. Strain and bottle the wine in a cool, dark place. It is now ready for consumption.
    Cooking Tips:
    1. Make sure that the grapes and all the equipment used are completely dry, or else the wine may spoil.
    2. Only use a glass or ceramic jar to make the wine. Do not use plastic or metal.
    3. Use a wooden spoon to stir the wine. Do not use metal.
    4. Make sure that you never touch the wine or the inside of the jar with your hands.

@@karuns3211 if you make it entirely organic without any external catalyst like yeast or anything then
1)first boiled water and make it cool then add it
      2) add sugar
      3) add little wheat or rice
      4) mix all and keep it in jar for atleast 21 days or 30 days ....during this you dnt open lid or anything ...just keep jar in dark place with tight lid.after 21 or 30 days just open the lid and strain your wines and keep in seperate jar. And start drinking.its natural and makes you high for 4 to 5 hrs .u will like it.

@@Noggcx You can do it with bread yeast. Blend up your grapes and strain them. Pour the juice into a sterilized bottle. Boil a pint of water with a cup of sugar (You can do this in the microwave). The sugar doesn't have to be entirely dissolved; the main thing about boiling it is that it's sterilizes it. When the sugar water cools down, add your bread, yeast or whatever yeast you were using to the sugar water. Give it 20 to 30 minutes to do its thing. Then pour it into the bottle with your grape juice. Stick a balloon over the top of the bottle and use a needle to poke a small hole in it. The balloon will fill up with the gases from the yeast. Put the bottle in a cool dark place. Check it every few days. When the balloon deflates you know it's ready.
There are plenty of recipes out there with many steps in between, but this is a quick and easy way of doing it. If it tastes too tart or tannic you can prepare another batch of sugar water, add a little yeast to the sugar water, and then after 20 to 30 minutes. Add the mixture to the wine and stick the balloon over it again. It will fill up again with air, but when the balloon deflates you can taste it again.

There's chances of that if you leave it closed for a long time. This is why it's opened and mixed at regular intervals, to release the excess pressure and Co2.

    • @cookdtv

When you are finally straining the wine, you can lightly squeeze the grapes. If you squeeze too hard into the wine, it can leave an unpleasant bitter taste.

    • @cookdtv

Since no yeast is added, sugar is added to help the process of natural fermentation. So it is required for this recipe. But you can reduce the amount of sugar as per the sweetness of the grapes or as per your preference.

The step of smashing the grapes in wine is called 'macerating'. In this recipe, the grapes automatically gets macerated when we stir it everyday with a wooden spoon. As they ferment, they soften well and start to mix well with the liquid.

The water has to be boiled fully and then cooled. This is to kill all the bacteria and sterilize it.
Also make sure that all the jars, spoons and ladles you use are clean and completely dry.
While cleaning the grapes at first, make sure there is no dirt or any spoilt grapes. Even one spoilt grape can spoil the wine. Hope these tips help you. Happy cooking.
