Heck yeah! I think these are great for someone who didn’t love the aggressive nature of the Turbowpn but loved the height!

Just copped a pair, went a half size down I think 😅 trying to convert sizes to US can be tricky sometimes hopefully everything works out 🤞🏾

Yoooo! This is exactly why I made this! Seems like these are getting a little slept on, which is probably because people aren’t sure or they are waiting it out for a markdown (which I saw another CZcamsr that I like suggest that people do). I personally think once people get these in hand and start talking about them they are going to sell and I just wanted those that are on the fence or looking for more information on them to get it before they start arriving to everyone else and people start buying them after seeing them on foot or watching other reviews. Is the sole suppose to be white or a tanish white

If the sole would be in the off white color like Ricks or the converse you can design yourself id be sold
They aren't white white but they aren't as "milk" as the Rick soles usually are. But they are still fuego! Give them a second look!
Hey thank you for the review I just got mine. I have a question on the milk white front toe does it have like little sparkles dots and in the bottom brown sole have sparkle dots or something like that? I want to make sure because if it's any defects I'm returning them.
Yeah it does have so details on the midsole, similar to some specs. Looks almost like concrete

I got them in my regular size(9.5) because in my chuck 70s they are a bit snug at size 9 for me and I like to have a little bit of room even though my normal chuck all stars are a 9 and they are perfect but I’m going to blame that on the extra cushy insole in chuck 70s and also that my all stars are absolutely beat to the ground but anyways so I ordered this pair in 9.5 I will update when they get here might take a while cause of shipping time
I’m back it fits pretty good I do have some room in the back and my heel does move but it’s not bad at all so if you go true to size your chillin

hi ima size 13, i don’t think i got narrow feet. Are these true to size? I don’t know if i’ll have to go bigger or smaller but i wanna know if i’m fine with being as it is
They run about 1/2 size big so if you can go 12.5 but if they don’t have it you should be fine in a 13 they just might be a little bit big on you but still wearable
what is the actual front platform and heel height on them? Do they have a small slope inside? Or flat all the way?
They are like normal shoes on the inside.the sole is about two inches thick.

Most likely 1/2 size unless you have really narrow feet than you could maybe go a full size. They are a little more spacious than your normal chuck 70 but I don’t feel like I could have gone a full size down. You’ll probably have a little room in them.

Probably true to size then. They run pretty big. Definitely not up though.

Tired of all of these converse collabs they're so boring and uninspired. At least the docs were cool like the hexagram 1460s. Pretty lame that they keep collabing with converse and not a more creative company
I really appreciate this comment because it really made me sit with it and think about WHY I like something. I disagree. I actually think the Converse stuff is up there in Rick Collabs. Though this was the only Chuck 70 that I've liked so far in the collab, I still appreciate both the meta of Rick retooling a pair of Chuck Taylors, but also the design choices. The subtle split sole that gives you both a piece of the Ramones and the Chuck Taylor is genius. Then bringing in the extend tongue.
I also appreciate the Turbodrk's square toe front even if I don't feel like it's for me. The best piece by far though is the Turbowpn, which is completely retooled from it's base inspo, looking at them side by side they look like totally different shoes. They remind me of my favorite R/O collab shoe, the Adidas Mastodon.
Where the Converse really kills it is accessibility. The price point is reachable unlike most of his other collabs including the Dr Martens ones, and the Chuck 70 is offered now in 3 different flavors that can appeal to a much wider demographic. This collab is creative and it's appealing to both normies and fashion fans.
I actually passed on the Dr Martens collab because I personally didn't find it all that interesting with the exception of the 1461 Bex (mostly because I like that style and at this point I want the Rick version of anything I like that I can get much like the birkenstocks) and the really tall combat boot because it reminds me of the tractor boots which are like 4x the price. The price points were so high on these at $400+ I'd rather save up the extra and catch a mainline pair of Rick shoes on sale or get a good used pair of Ricks. I hope this last part didn't come off as condescending that wasn't my goal.
As far as working with creative companies, there's Moncler 2 coming right around the corner and I'm sure there will be some really cool footwear in the mix there. I just don't the Converse collab is trying to reach the same clientelle. I do honestly appreciate you taking the time to express your thoughts and allowing me a space to express mine!
