It was written by Ferdinand for the wedding of a friend a while back. It's in Cebuano language (also known as Bisaya or Visaya), the language of Cebu (Se-bu) where Mori hails from. There's a video uploaded also in her channel of clips from Dave and Mori's wedding with "Ang Paghuwat" as the background music, you might wanna see it. Also, they performed this song live on the Wish Bus. Hope you can feature that, too. You know Mori, her live performances are almost always better than studio recordings. 🥰

Another Visaga project by Mori and Dave. Ferdinand who wrote this song and collaborated on Undangon Ta Ni is from Cebu like Morrisette. It is important to know that in Cebu the language is Cebuano, a dialect of Visaga (or Bisaya), and all children are educated in English (American). Morrisette did not learn to speak Tagalog until she moved to Manila at 14 to pursue her singing career. While she is fluent in both Cebuano and Tagalog, she says she thinks in English when writing lyrics.
