    Thank you so much sir! I have been trying to look for ways to understand ECG interpretation! Thank you so much for making it super easy and concise what to look for! And great mnemonics as well. God bless

    How is there a QRS present if the AV node blocks conduction to the bundle of his/purkinje fibers? If there is a complete heart block, could there even be contraction of the ventricles?

    • @xlyde1644
      @xlyde1644 Před 4 lety

      Yes. Av contraction can produce hr from 40 to 60

    • @ganeshadelkar24
      @ganeshadelkar24 Před 4 lety +1

      Ventricles can beat at their own rhythm if there is no conduction of impulse through AV node. Here Bundle of His can work as Pacemaker for ventricles. Rate of contraction of ventricles is slow in such cases, 40-60 per minute.

  • @godschildchristian1218

    RN Mastery states that the rate is from 20-55. Please help me on that. Thank you

      My HR was 37 for some months (no response to atropine, either) before the electrophysiologist decided I had to get a pacemaker. It came on slowly, so I must have acclimated to the rate, but I felt colder than usual and although I could function, I couldn't add any extra demands, like no running up stairs.
