- U.S. President Donald Trump was greeted by India’s President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he arrived at the Presidential Palace in New Delhi on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
This is Trump's first official visit to India, where he is set to discuss with Prime Minister Narendra the issues of arms sales and festering trade disputes that have strained ties in recent months.

As an outsider, it seems like everyone hates Trudeau...
The majority of comments I've often read about him on similar videos specifically criticise him for wearing an Indian traditional dress when on his visit here, which people see as him being superficial and stereotypical, and conclude that our government felt offended by this, and respected Trump because he was wearing formal attire all the time, which isn't true.
He was snubbed by our government as no top-ranking government official showed up to greet him at the airport, and that was specifically because he supports Khalistani militants and people who have ties to them, which are a threat to us.
I very well might be wrong on this, but I think Trudeau only wore the traditional dress because one of the places on his visiting list was a temple, and he was wearing a formal suit during press conferences after that visit was concluded.
I might not like his policies, but I did appreciate his gesture of wearing the appropriate clothing when visiting a religious site.
Hmmmm as an Indian we use to hate him because he gave space to Khalistanis who were anti Indians. But I guess 1 month ago he ban all those anti Indian organisations in Canada.

@V. VDifferent perspective. I am Indian from the state of Himachal Pradesh which is in the Frontier of The Himalayas. The British Rule didn't try to dissolve the Caste System. Rather it amplified the hierarchy as a "divide and rule" strategy. And Caste System is jut a scary word for Dominance Hierarchy which exists in every society around the world. The semantics change. Class, Race, Language, Religion, Ethnicity all are variables that go into the calculations of a hierarchical structure. And this isn't a purely social construct. Look at the food chain in the wild where there is no man made rules. But does that mean this hierarchical structure permits discrimination? But how do you define discrimination? And every idea is vulnerable to corruption. The very same happened with Caste System. But remember again Indians did not kill millions of other caste because of their differences. But the British did kill millions in man made famines from Bengal to Ireland. Because the later were of lower caste. So you can use Caste System as justification of British Rule. But look at Britain today. Old people are furious that the age old hierarchies are being dismantled in a social and political level. Equality is a false God and won't be long to realise that. Again caste system is a scary word for dominance hierarchy.

They hurt our religious feelings by forcing our soldiers to use cow fat coated bullets. They caused many famines during the colonial rule. Millions died. They caused massacres. I wouldn't say that they did anything good. As for the caste system, they did nothing for it. It was B.R.Ambedkar and others who uplifted the oppressed communities.
