The black eagle is still my favorite note of all. Thanks Jason for helping make this video possible
I think it's mine too, though I love all of them
The educational series bills is pure art
I shure do wish we still printed notes as beautiful as that large size 2 doller note. Thanks for making this video happen Jason. Fun fact- Thare is a black eagle note that came from a titanic survivor named H. Weikman. On the back he wrote "this note was in my pocket when picked up by the S.S. Carpathia from the wreck of S.S. Titanic April 15th 1912". The note is graded by pcgs currency.
Right? Why can't we have such ornate, tasteful stuff nowadays!
A wild guess about the woman on the New Brunswick bank note: Clara Barton? She opened the first free public school in Bordentown, NJ in 1852. Then she went on to found the Red Cross.
I think you are right! Now what prize do you win :)
@@Silverpicker That's amazing. How were you able to confirm her identity?
(The horse blanket notes are called that because the seal looks like a horse blanket not because of its size.) my favorite bill is the 100,000 dollar gold certificate.
Thank you Jason
That's really interesting. Thank you for the clarification!
SP and Squad. You're more than welcome.
yes
Thank you Jason! Those are amazing bank notes, just gorgeous!
Very cool set of bills!
You've got some nice Notes, Jason. I too have a lot of the bills that were displayed in this video, but yours are in spectacular condition! I'd be interested in learning what else you've still got!
@@ThaggleS most of my better notes are gone. A few CSA notes, common silver certificates and red seals.
Jason, I am loving this week's Silverpicker video. Thanks for making it happen :-)
Very nice collection. I have seen many of these bank notes at my local coin shop. Many of those you have are in pristine collection. Congratulations. Thank you Jason for you generosity.
Thanks so much Bruce! Glad you enjoyed seeing them
Thank you Jason for sending these to Silverpicker.
Nice work!!! Great video. Great collaboration SP and JD. Thank you both. Now on to video 2.
Thanks Ian! Glad you liked it!
The 1899 Black Eagle is my all time favorite design on paper notes . Your Fan really was generous with you at $500 .
I really love that one too. Jason is amazing
@@Silverpicker I liked how you and Jason traded . You were both very fair with each other . Thank you for the reply .
thank you Jason c for sending Silverpicker this spectacular collection of banknotes. You missed something, for the 1934 5 dollar silver certificate the "a" was a little bit higher than it was suppose to be.
A terrific walk thru history with bank notes!
Thanks Jason, this is the very first time that I’ve even heard of these bills. Very educational.
So glad you enjoyed (and learned!), Clara!
Beautiful collection, thanks both of you.
Jason awesome gift ❤️
Awesome collection. Way to go Jason!!!
Awesome notes Jason, great gift and it made for a wonderful video!!
Thanks so much Jason!! I love seeing this kind of stuff, especially as a young collector, I see so many things I have never even heard of on the channel. And because of you, this video was possible, thanks so much! Also, gotta thank silver picker as well for making this video, I learn something new each day from this channel!
And thank you for watching!
Wow Jason! I would really like to be your friend too!😊 Lots of Love Bobbi 😊🙏🏼
I LOVE the series 1918 of all denominations. There’s so beautiful. Especially the 5
Aren't they incredible?!
Thanks Jason for the wonderful piece of history
SP squad
Very informative thanks
Nice collection! My favorite bill is the 1901 "bison note"
That's a really nice note
Great video! Cool stuff!
I want a Hawaii note, that's so cool. Lots of stuff I've never seen before. Great trade!
So glad you enjoyed it, Mark! I know it's a good one when it gets you interested in modern numismatics!
Dam, those are some fascinating banknotes and coins. Thank you Jason for sending those for us to view.
Thank you Jason, these are wicked Nice!!!!
wow! Super cool stuff :O
My fav is the black eagle note!!! :O!!!!!!
I love that one too!
Excellent grab bag. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed!!
Thanks Jason.
This has really filled a void in my coin collecting experience! Ever since Covid has hit we have really developed a fantastic community! This was a fantastic video and Jason kudos brother you did great!
Thanks, Bud.
I think we all agree on this one!
Awesome video! Jason you did Silverpicker a real solid with your notes that you sent. Double thumbs up as my daughter would say.
He's the man!
I really enjoyed the viewing. learned some interesting things. Like 50 cent paper notes. Who knew. I'm relatively new to collecting. Thanks you and Jason
So glad you enjoyed it Karen! Welcome to the hobby :)
Jason provided awesome banknotes big and small! My favorite one was the 1914 $1 National banknote; the inscriptions were cool, but I LOVE the reverse!
I like that one too! It's hard to choose a favorite
I learned so much thanks. Very fun
Glad you enjoyed it!
I collect paper money mostly. I love looking at these. I would love to find the S & R notes. Also have tons of foreign paper money.
The S & R notes just tell such an interesting story, right?
@@Silverpicker They sure do. I must have never noticed those when I had my paper money guide.
I dont know the whole story but the red sealed USA notes are from the "Bretton Woods system" of printing where the Gold Standard was still in play. Richard Nixon announced in 1971 that we would no longer be able to exchange paper dollars for gold. eventually, both the gold and silver standard were dropped, and youll notice that the silver content from coinage around this time was phased out. By the end of the 60s, most coins were minted in base metals, and the paper currency was no longer backed by any physical commodity.
Thanks for the added context, Karl
Great video! Keep up the Awesome work!
Thanks Trevor!!
thanks jason
Jason, way to go man! That was a hell of a grab bag! SP you got some nice notes man!
Thank you Jason!
Woohoo!
My fav would be New Brunswick looks UNC and $2 legal tender. Cant decide.
I really love that dog on the New Bruns bill. Such a sharp looking note
How cool!!!!
that's why i love the coin Community everybody is just so awesome🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ain't that the truth!
Nice notes! Lots of interesting history!
Thanks Benjamin!
Wow really nice bills!
Thanks noah!
The penultimate video or second last note and the last note are probably my favorite.
Super nice ones
Cheers Jason, interesting.
Awesome notes
Thanks Jason you are awesome
My old history teacher found a $20 Hawaii overprint note in circulation back in the 90s.
That is awesome! It's still possible believe it or not
Ty Jason 😘
I definitely found all the silver certificates amazing and my favorites!
nice!
@@Silverpicker Yep! Great video and Great channel!
I have a 1917 $1.00 United States Note in my collection that has fire damage to it. which Makes you wonder where the bill was when fire started or who had it in 1917 and the best part is that its still in crisp condition.
But my favorite banknotes are the red seal notes. Have lots of 2.00 bills and a few 5.00 bills. Missing the 1928 red seal $1.00 bill and the 1966 $100 dollar bill.
Super interesting. I love bills and coins that have history built into them like that
I think my favorite was the last note, I like the writing on the reverse, I think it goes into detail of the penalties and hard labor you would have to serve if you duplicate the note. But I guess they can duplicate serial numbers, 🤣
That black eagle!
Surprisingly good shape, right?
Thanks jason
My favorite is probably the new brunswick bill or the 50 cent note. I have some state and fractional myself but yours are nicer :3
Thanks Donald! I like those too!
Shout out for Jersey! My daughter's BFF goes to Rutgers.
Woohoo! Good man!
thanks for sharing....luv'd seeing all these especially the Black Eagle. Does Jason C have a channel?
Not yet. Once I recover from this stroke and get my voice back, I'm highly thinking about it.
@@SandmanCnC75 Oh, sorry to hear that. Get well soon. Look forward to your channel.
nice bills Jason.
Awesome!
I just love the US banknotes, to a foreigner (UK). They look almost the same but when you explain the subtle differences and meanings I just find them fascinating!. Ps. The Eagle Note is stunning 👍
Isn't it incredible?!
Sadel bag dollar bills are the big one's
Max mad video man ... Jason thanks for the history of us hard currency man
Thanks Tino! Much appreciated
thanks you're very good
Thank you. you're very good too!
Jason is a real G
💯
I am collecting notes now this is really interesting
Thank yuo jason
Hello Silverpiker.i am hear again. The Philippine coin you have is nice.i have them too.
I believe the errors worth way more than what you think, btw very very nice video!!!
Yeah? That would be awesome! What do you think they're worth?
5:21 I have a five dollar 1963 red sealed star note in my collection:)
Sweet!
I must say that I like the old notes, but too
expensive for me. The engravers were really
good back then. Thanks for these Jason. I
only remember the semi-old silver certificate notes from the 1950's and the 1960's, which
ended then, and the Notes from back then.
They are indeed expensive, but they seem to hold their value.
Not ever really collected bank notes only have a few. Red seal 2 dollar notes & silver certificates.
Those are still great notes!
I just got a 1934 series a 1 Hawaii note recently. It’s a star note
That's awesome!
Good Brother
Why is there no Date on the $1 dollar State bank note of New Brunswick?
It is an uncirculated bank note. Like a check, the bank had to write info on it to make it official. These notes date back to pre-Civil War.
I want that 2 dollar bill
Wonderful
Thanks Charles!
Man I wish that silver picker was my zoom teacher😂😂
Lol, what class would I teach?
@@Silverpickeryou would replace them all😂😂😂😂
@@Silverpicker btw you actually inspired me to have my own coin collection 👍😁
Id love to get a black eagle note
They're so beautiful
so why is the 1918 flying eagle note stamped with a blue seal? arent those reserved for silver certificates? I have been researching the history of the seal colors and recently got my hands on this bill and was confused. Do you have any information about this blue seal usage
I believe blue seals are just for silver certificates
Wow these banknotes are awesome, you just can’t find these ungraded anymore and then they put such a high price on them 😔
I'm obsessed with them now lol
Awesome
i wish i could have that 1$ black eagle bill, i would trade all the coins in my collection for it and give it to my dad as a gift
Maybe you can find one on eBay for a good price
Mate, watching this video made me feel like I was in Numismatic Paradise! I lost my words.
Lol that's how I felt making it, Nandi!
nice
18:10 that is the picture of when Columbus first landed on the Americas.
Ahh, that's super interesting. Thanks!
it is definitely clara barton
Yeah? On the New Brunswick note?
love how you cannot see any detail on the 2 coins
Jason, would buy some notes from you.
Jason where did you get, is those are from the Philippines?
The who collection was exciting
R and S experimental notes, wow...
Aren't they cool!
Do the update on the type set for bills
I will soon :)
Where can you buy old banknote?
ISO.gg/Silverpicker
Thanks
Damn SP i would love to get a funnyback for that cheap of $20 in that shape!! I paid $30 from a friend for a piece of junk almost!
Take a look on eBay. There are still some solid deals out there
You’re a 1934 $85 blue now United States of America currency that bill is absolutely beautiful what you have there is a broken ladder I would send it into PCGS Cert to get graded just make sure you specify that it is a broken ladder look it up yourself in good condition they’re valuable💯😃
4:59 no "In God We Trust" I have 4 in my collection :) Nice video :)
17:05 I have one of these from Boston in a little nicer condition.
That's awesome! You from there?
Yes. I live about 15 mins from Concord and an hour from Boston. My dad bought it as a present when I was 12.
I get a bunch of older coins. My first coin show I bought an 1807 large cent and got a Civil War Token for free.
He said “Have it for free.” It was because I was 14 at the time
Am i this early to watch the video o my god it only has 800+ views also my favorite one in the video is the philippine coins and i live in the philippines and today i had a bad day i got a big paper cut oh and thanks jason for giving a trade from silverpicker
oof that hurts
That hurts indeed, but I'm glad my video cheered you up!
@@Silverpicker and i have 208 coins some are us and maybe 41 banknotes i even got 2×combo cause of a star and old in 1 banknote and i got a bandage now
