Recently promoted to première danseuse, Inès McIntosh’s rise through the ranks at the Paris Opera has been quite meteoric. DANCE EUROPE met up with the exceptionally talented dancer as she was preparing for her debut as Kitri in Rudolf Nureyev's Don Quixote.

I'm sad about the school telling a student theyre too fat to dance. Fat people can be excellent dancers. And really, what thin people think is fat is still relatively thin, just not as thin as they idolize.
