Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a traveling family who spent 2020 self-converting a van before moving in full-time to drive around our home country of Australia. We have now completed our lap, said our goodbyes, and resumed full-time travel before we wait for our second baby to arrive.

Bhutan is one the best country to travel as shown by lonely planet (2023). It is the only carbon negative country in the world with vibrant culture and deep rooted Buddhism customs & traditions.

Throughout your recent travels to Mongolia and now Bhutan, what I have seen is how beautiful and loving the people are with families and especially the children. It must be their Buddhist beliefs. Oh my goodness, we have only just discovered you after searching for tips travelling through France and Switzerland via You Tube and completely hooked on your trips. When a cow takes a leisurely stroll in the middle of the road, it's not road rage you'll experience, but 'road namaste'! That seems one of the country I'll be adding on bucketlist and if I'm lucky enough, I hope my dart would get me there sooner!
6:44- That tea looks delicious but did you get to try Bhutanese yak butter tea? Yes, having tea loaded with yak butter and salt (never sugar) has been a staple of Bhutan (and Tibet) for centuries! Also, originally tea cups had no handles!
Regardless, the food and hospitality seems quite amazing! I'm glad you got to experience that with your entire family AND to share it with the rest of us!

Bhutan is also known as Land of Thunder Dragon because Bhutan 🇧🇹 experiences alot of thunderstorms during summer season.
Also, it was believed that Bhutan was home to a mythical creature, thunder dragon, whose egg can be still found in a museum named Ta-Dzong located in Paro (international airport town)
