I love , love love love ❤️ this video. I can still see the love in your father's eyes 👀 for you . Your communication with him is so interesting. Flows naturally even though you all have been apart for a long time . I love love love love love ❤️ the way you call him daddy ❣️. It sweetens my heart. I learnt a lot from all he said . I am a Nigerian too. I feel the particular son of yours that wants to be hooked up with a wife has taken that genes from your northern Nigerian side even though he never had the culture. Genetics I guess . Thank you so much for this amazing video. I can't stop smiling 🥲 hope to watch more of your Nigerian story. You are really doing well .

@@Kenton-Habiba oh my lovely 🌹 Ms habiba, I already watched that yesterday. Your brothers sent you a lovely northern Nigerian outfit. One a designer made it and the other helped with the shipment. Your looked so beautiful. You even addressed president Buhari. I gave a little comment on the video. I am at the moment watching the reunion of your father , mother, and your brother Bashiru. Very emotional for me . I am having cold literally watching your family come together. Your father loves you a lot .I admire your dad. I know he learned his mistakes. And I must say you brought your children up so well from the video I am at the moment watching. Your mother is a goddess. Extremely beautiful ❤️ Lots of love from a Nigerian living in Dubai.

My dad also worked in Radio Broadcasting (in Ibadan c1958) . I also worked in Broadcasting in Lagos before I left for 🇬🇧in 1978. My mother passed in Trinidad before Christmas last year. Love the spirit, intellect and wisdom of your dad. And your obvious fondness for him that surpasses any issues your parents may have had. And he for you…he says your name with such care. You both have a charming sense of humor. I think he thoroughly enjoyed answering your questions.

Your dad is so humble despite all his accomplishments. This is amazing! This kind of humility you wouldn't easily find in many African fathers. You are a very lucky woman and I'm glad you forgave him for not being around. I am really shocked about how open he was and did not mind answering your questions. I am sure he had some valid reasons for his absence because it's clear that he loves you, your mum and brothers. I hope your mum will get to forgive him one day.
I can't imagine asking my father all these questions! He will be furious no joke! 😂😂😂 So You are very lucky indeed. May God give your father a long life for you guys to make more memories.

I very much believe in arranged marriages!!!
People erroneously think arranged marriages are forced marriages.
No.Arranged marriages are merely RECOMMENDATION and INVESTIGATION.
With dating, how much can you find out, about , not just the person in question but their roots?
It also makes young ladies vulnerable to men who merely take advantage of them in the name of marriage. Some get pregnant over and over in the process, only to be dumped!!!

    • @Kenton-Habiba

Yes, arranged marriage is not forced marriage. If both parties don't like each other, the families back off. Most times, young people think they know what they want, as they grow older, they discover they really don't know what they want. If I ask young ladies today what they want in men, the majority of them will give me different answers if I ask the same question tomorrow. So, guidance of elders cannot be underestimated.

SO emotional, yet authentic and down to earth. Reminds me of own upbringing with my Dad and granddad being professionals in the 50"s. I have one sister by my Dad, but I am my Mom's only child, having a single daughter myself. Your Dad is very technical and proud of you and your family. So proud of his daughters ❤ and grandchildren. 🇹🇹 Here in Trinidad, my fate tells me that his wish.of uniting his family will come through and your Mom does understand his likeness for her though amicable could be without emotions and be mutual. Good Luck with your upcoming trip to Nigeria khalid's and your Dad's dreams. Saw in the background, a picture of your stepmother with similar features like Barbara, this life dearie .😢

Habiba I know this was recorded three years ago and I only came across it now. Like you said, your daddy was a bit different at that time. But having grown, he is a loving father and grandfather and has so much love for his family. I'm a South African, and we have Nigerians leaving here, but I'm surprised to see how different your daddy is. An intelligent father indeed. Your relationship is very great❤🇿🇦🙏
