Now that this book now button is on your Facebook page and Instagram profile... it has a Facebook pixel attached meaning you can retarget those who clicked the book button but did not complete the booking... with ads! I successfully added my book now option onto my Instagram account but My booking information isn’t showing… what do I do??
I wish there was more I could do to help but Facebook has so many bugs it's hard to say what it could be. Maybe try deleting and re downloading the Instagram app or deleting and re-adding the booking info. I think there's also a setting for whether or not to display the actual button itself on a page which is in profile settings instead of the app settings.

Go to business.Facebook.com and from there select the page then on the left click partners. It will show up apps you have connected like the booking tool. Remove it and then you can try again!

Make sure your page is a business page connected to a Facebook page. That’s the only problem I can think of that might be causing that.
Hey, so I did it exactly how u did it. Step by step. However when i click on the book now. Just a black screen comes on with a loading. Iv called square and they say its on Instagram end. But instagram is impossible to reach. Do u know by any chance. Thanks
I've had that happen myself. Try taking the button off, then adding it again. That worked for me!

I had to contact Instagram and no response yet
I'm not aware of any special requirements, although Instagram may require you to have the account for a certain time period (like 30+ days) before being able to do it. There's also a lot of technical issues on the backend of Facebook I find. Best of luck!
How to remove?
Go into Instagram setting, select action button then add a button, select the type you have and if it’s active there should be the option to remove the button at the bottom.
