- In this episode, I am heading further to the south east of Liberia and it's a long day of motorcycling. Over 200 kilometers of dirt roads through the jungle and now that the rainy season has started, this is becoming more challenging very soon. But the rewards once I reach the National Park make it all worth it !!

I have to say I am now retired after spending all my life travelling to places in USA and Europe. From watching your videos I realise how little in depth geography we miss with modern life and work. These videos are valuable education about geography, climate differences, living standards and culture that you cannot learn from a book. You are doing a great public service with these videos. It must be tiring, but it is appreciated by millions of people. Well done.
❤
Indeed.
Thank you and very well said. I totally agree😊
Absolutely!
Well stated, thanks. I tell my friends that her videos are a window to the world.
The tenacity, the mental fortitude of this woman is second to none. Such that she can bring us content to watch for free in the comfort of our homes.Thank you Noraly. Love from Zimbabwe
Yes - we are watching the real Wonder Woman!
Also watching from Zimbabwe. Really enjoying Noraly's travels.
TOURISTOES---is what drives the economy---and the facilities they desire
@@laraineflaxman931 she is an amazing woman. Managed to see her when she passed through Newlands
I am amazed how she is not scared at all. You are fantástica Norely
That baby chimpanzee is just the most adorable thing.
This woman is one brave soul, safe travels and guidance
She's the most interesting woman in the world
not too sure about being brave, sorta makes one wonder!! continue on being quite lucky and enjoy the ride
@bobbydouglass1813 When you endeavor to persevere ,like the itchy boot legend is doing ,sometimes you have to make your own luck. Every single day you swing a leg over that thing with a bag of luck in one hand and a bag of experience in the other .Some days you run out of luck,so you have to use your experience to make some more luck quickly
@@MikeLimaFoxtrot-es7ph
yep!! having been there done that sorta ride (baja mexico) i have to say not only was i w/a bunch of riders there was also a lot of help all along the way, not to mention the male/female thing. as kenny sad..."you got to know when to hold 'em, but you also need to know when to fold 'em"...best of luck to this "brave" gal
I learned today that you don't need an offroad bike or offroad tires to go offroading and you can even bring 2 friends along!
Lol
Thats right
🤣🤣🤣
hahah yes the riding skills ' 3 up!' of the Liberians are also truly impressive... Noraly your riding is amazing.
Friends and their luggage! Real bike giants! I suspect Noraly went behind them just for the pushes, I would have done that, as well. Just like a chapter of deadliest roads!
That “low pipe trio” you followed on that ”road”definitely proved to me that ANY bike CAN BE an “Adventure Bike” 😅
the huge, heavy. "adventure" bikes would not make it on Noraly's adventures!!
@@dennisgreene5055That is so true, Noraly is very smart to have stuck with Alaska for this African adventure.
. I think with that guy driving he would do just fine with some better tires. 😊
😁👍
it's the driver not the motor
Thank you for showing us the beauty of Africa and the warm and welcoming people. Your channel has taken many, many hours of my time. But it has given me a view into the less traveled parts of our world. Thank you for the many years of effort.
I’m an African but this is the Africa I have never seen 😮😮😮what a surprise 🎉
West Africa is beautiful
The mental strength and courage that Noraly exhibits is second to none. What an amazing journey she has been on for years.
I’m amazed that people just walk through the jungle with no worries or anything for self defense! I’m a Vietnam veteran and I would NOT want to walk through the jungle without at least a side arm or shotgun!?! Noraly….WOW! Were you special forces in a previous life!?!🙃
Your type is the real danger to humanity.
When she was asked @ the ABR Festival about her fear riding alone her reply was epic
Noraly is certainly an amazing person that tackles tough terrain and weather seemingly effortlessly!
Yes its easy to see the physical challenges of her travels but when one thinks of everything going on mentally she has to deal with in daily and nightly challenges in such remote areas, her capability to stay mentally stable is inspiring and nothing short of amazing. I'll guess she probably has times with anxiety like we all do but she handles it so well we don't notice and she just goes on pumping out 2 amazing videos a week..... in places without electricity. Peace
I think Noralys mud skills have improved exponentially, she took these nasty ruts like a boss!
You have to give Savannah some credit, too. I swear that bike loves Noraly and tries even harder to please her. ❤
@@jaykb6587 I agree 😁
You're right she does except for thing, she to learn to sit back on good road until the bike ahead of her gets through the bad spot.
@@jaykb6587 Do you mean Alaska??
seems like a lot of people are trying to please her
Two mudholes and a luxury cabins? For 3 yrs I worked in the Amazon (Peru, Bolivia, Brazil). Sometimes I couldn't pass sections of "roads" as the ruts reached above the roof of my little Willy, sometimes I had to spend days/week in dirt shacks as my motorbike wouldn't fit in the canoes that crossed the frothing rivers, sometimes I had to walk for days in the mud slashing through the forests as the paths to my destination hardly exist anymore, one time I slept in a Shining Path base camp, one time I slept on top of a pigs bin. But all the times the people is what is still stuck in my head. Amazing people.
Hi …. I am 70 years old and live in Scotland, I have watched your Chanel for years now and I cannot explain how much entertainment I have had from you . I wish you all the very best in your recovery and I await your new book and also the next chapter in your life. Best Regards Alan
Noraly gives us hope for the world by showing us that people of good will exist everywhere.
I agree, her adventures gives us hope to how many good people are really out there. It is not as bad as the media and others like to project.
@@michaels7499 western media especially. They show or portray it all bad. And that "wealth" that some individuals or groups take for themselves is exact recipe that capitalist evolved.
Absolutely Positively - Turn off the news - Turn on Itchy Boots!!
Sigh, yes. Good people everywhere -- just too many bad politicians and corrupt governments.
I never imagined that Noraly would visit so many African countries that are so radically different. She is a more than incredible Woman. Itchy Bene Gesserit Boots!
Pura vida 🇨🇷!
Viva la Noraly ! 🕊❤🥳🍻
Nah, Noraly doesn't run around with a gom jabbar and killing words. She 's a down to earth joyful human being - as well you say: more than incredible Woman.
Yea more than incredible for sure. I don't think there are descriptive words that do her justice. at least not in the English language.
@@jasonzerbini2375 yes there are she is a human being the type of person everyone should aspire to be at least in attitude and personality
Noraly is certainly a very gifted and intelligent lady! She always finds a way to make things work.
the look on our noraly's face at the end said it all ! she deserves every moment of happiness.
Your laughter and joy while in the middle of difficult travel conditions are what makes your channel so incredibly enjoyable. A role model for the rest of the world. Your adjust and adapt mental skills are remarkable. Your channel needs to be part of a class curriculum for young people. Be safe, be blessed.
I have thought the exact same thing. This is what we should be teaching the young generation.
I’m inspired by her braveness ❤
What a day! The streets were not yet insane with traffic as you left, but the dirt road was treacherous with mud! All the people are so nice and helpful along the way and your aerial views were amazing. The little chimp now has a chance to survive in a new family! Plus, the National Park certainly had great accommodations in the Liberian jungle! The welcome ceremony was nice! Thanks Noraly for another day in your adventure…. Ride safe!
Africa is a beautiful continent with more proven resources than any other continent on the globe, and when you see how poor the circumstances are in the infrastructure, and you read stories about the fabulous wealth being spread by the elite in these countries, you understand that they are just plundering their own people and it really hits home to you what that means
Duh. Wait til you discover what the Muslims did, and do to the Africans today.
True, sad world we live in...
that is the reason why the UK and France gave independance to their African colonies - since then, they were able toexploit thse countries without limit, whereas before they had to invest to create infrastructure, and maintain a health system, a network of schools etc etc
It makes you sick really. With all the wealth and in today's age those roads should be paved for the people. Just incredible resilient beautiful people. Just proves how corrupt the world is when you can't even pave a road in a country full of valuable assets.
@@silveriorebelo2920 exactly friend, preach. Just exploiters. But none of them are really invested in helping them, just pure exploitation.
OK, I would just stay in that eco-lodge for a few weeks... "Goodmorning internet, I'm still in the eco-lodge (part 27)".
And amazing job in the mud!
For me, the women walking Noraly through the jungle to the eco-lodge, and preparing her food is a very humbling experience.
Thank You Liberia.
Trinidad & Tobago.
West Indies.
Now this was the best one since Dakar! First that chap on the small bike, (Wasn't that even a scooter? Insane skill! 🤣) keeping his balance through the craziest situations, then the crazy load on the car (and the obligatory person riding on top, everything else probably would be too boring for an average African passenger? 🤣)
…and then this jungle stay! Up there withe the most beautiful ones you ever stayed at! 🤩
And, aww, the wee chimpy! 🥰
This was a very fun one to watch! 😍🤗Beautiful! 🤗²
Thanks Noraly you’re awesome 👍🏻🇺🇸🏍️👍🏻😎
I’m totally impressed by the comradery and resourcefulness of the African people.
It’s like “we’re all in this together”, as evidenced by those guys on the bike in front of you, and the people at the National Park.
It’s amazing how well you navigated that brutal road.
The good part of having three people on a motorcycle is that two of them can get off and push!
Good Vibrations!
She handled that muddy road like a walk on the park , amazing
The rainy season may have added challenges, but it definitely made for an unforgettable episode. The Liberian jungle looks absolutely enchanting, thanks for taking us along on this adventure!
Loved LOVED this episode!!! Mud, adventure, history, a baby chimp, and a very cool walk in the jungle!
OK…….. I WAS ‘NOT’ expecting that room!!!!! Awesome!
As Africans we love all people in the world 🌎❤🌍
❤ GREETINGS AND LOVE FROM ATHENS GREECE....!!!! ❤
That's nice. Anthropologists tell us all people in the world originate from Africa, the mother of us all!
We love all people but people hate us just because we are black skinned it's very sad
@@sammuindi3328We all bleed the the same regardless the color of our skin
Sending love from East Tennessee!
The drone view of the brown dirt road meandering through the lush green forest was really gourgeous! It must take extreme mental focus and physical endurance for hours of weaving through the deep, muddy, slippery, water-filled ruts. Cell phone service is quite a surprise, and what a reward at the destination! A welcoming ceremony and grandiose accomodations.
Another great episode. Thank you Itchy Boots! 🙂👍👍
I feel cellphone towers is the easiest way to connect the coutry, way easier than landlines, of which they might have had, but with much harder maintenance and most likely fewer off.
As an African, that was absolutely breathtaking 🔥🔥💯
It's clear that your adventures aren't all about comfort. If I look past the mud of pudding consistency, and heat and humidity, I see that the place is incredibly beautiful. There always seem to be so many helpful and friendly people too. What a journey! Thanks for taking us along.
I repeat, Itchy Boots is first class CZcams content. May The Chalk be with you Noraly.
I've been watching Noraly since Central America, and can't figure out how one person has the strength, and knowhow to single handedly bring the world so much enjoyment! Noraly, all I can say is "THANK YOU!!!"
🙏 for showing how beautiful Africa and its people are beautiful and peaceful regardless of the hardship they have to go through
Those in the moment... moments are awesome. something u will remember for a lifetime.
These episodes in countries like this are without doubt the most interesting and educational for me and I guess many of the watchers. The jungle roads, the enormous problems for the local people that they have to struggle with on a daily basis. The roads during rain season and the difficulties to get from A to B. It is such a difference with the world we are used to, and Noraly handdles these conditions as an experienced local. And her reward at the end is indeed mind blowing: the hike trough the deep jungle and then a lodge that looks like it is of a different world far far away of the African jungle. As if Center Parcs has started a new venue in Liberia ......
Algumas vezes reclamo do meu país, problemas sociais e políticos e acompanhando este vídeo eu reconheço que estou no paraíso, parabéns pelos vídeos sem dúvidas são muito educativo
Wonderful, patient and shining African people. Admiring their zest for life. What a great continent. You are blessed to live it, Noraly. Thank you for the video.
That eco lodge is a complete gem! It’s amazing how you travel so smoothly through those mud roads Noraly. And again, thanks for taking us with you and showing us the splendor of Africa👍👍
I’m impressed by the Liberian people. Love this episode. I’m from Nigeria
Once again I'm humbled by your riding prowess. I hesitate at the appearance of the smallest amount of mud and water. To ride over a hundred miles of it boggles my brain.
Your videos are ever surprising and move from one amazing interaction to another. And after the three guys on the bike, the mud, and through the jungle all that energy is suddenly quieted by that baby chimp. And then the eco lodge. You are living a blessed life. Thank you for sharing it with us.

whaaaaaat?
200 kilometers of mud and tension, then a 1 hr walk into the jungle and POW! LOVELY A-FRAME COTTAGES??! After a day like that, I'd stay for a week!
...or 2. Cheers Noraly!
My new favorite word is "oof". Wonderful journey.
Yes.. I also like “oopa “.
No doubt West Africa has the most challenging roads on the planet.
Good luck Noraly and hopes for Alaska to hold up well and no more engine overheating!
Disagree. She navigated worse in S. America.
Yeah, the rainy season in Guatemala was as challenging as it was rewarding.
But I've got a feeling that these wet conditions are going to get worse before they get better.

I been waiting to see this journey of our bad road here in Liberia. Love Liberia build Liberia 🇱🇷 ❤️❤️❤️
How do they get the stuck heavy trucks going again? Since you live there, I thought that you might know.

What a grand adventure day Noraly! When you switched to Dutch to comment on the mud near the beginning I laughed out loud. 😂 I loved the jungle walk at the end and those amazing cabins and food in the national park. Such a joy to travel with you and I am glad I took time out before going into the studio to paint. Thank you as always for taking us along!
And she still has time for a trip to England! Well done Noraly, you're a star.
I deeply appreciate seeing so much of the world that is not often "in my view." So many wonderful people living lives much different than my own, in amazing locations... and so much of a common spirit of joy and welcoming that displays the best aspects of human beings. Thanks, Noraly!
Exactly, you can Google maps street view all day but this is extra special 🎉

Noraly, with all that is negative in this world you manage to bring out the positive vibes of humanity. It is refreshing to watch you and your encounters with other humans who are so much like all of us after you peel away our layers. Thank you for exposing to all of us there is more love than hate on our blue planet.
If Africa has a worst road Itchy Boots is sure to find it.Her hairaising adventures give spice to our lives back here in the quietude of our lives.God speed Norali.
A few days ago, i drove around 1200 km's while driving 40 to 50km/h for over 18 hours. A few places i could drive 80km/h. if i see you driving. You are a badass like me but i do not have terrain like that or i would have been stuck with my rv "camper" in no time there. Lol! Only real ones know how hard it is for you, keep on enjoying your journey! I am currently stuck with my rv without any money to repair. I wish you luck and i will pray for you as i am a long time watcher but never commented. Much love 🤘
Wow after the long ride and mud.....a spectacular eco lodge in the jungle.....sweet! Noraly you experience the beauty of this world and it's people because you are a beautiful person:).
What amazing, kind people who have really gone out of their way to make you welcome and are so kind and friendly. I love the african people, especially the poorer onesand the women are really beautiful, tough and smart with big hearts. Often those countries we expect to be less friendly are often the biggest surprises and sierra Leone and Liberia are truely a surprise especially as the people have suffered so much wijth war, hunger. God bless these lovely kind people and take care of them.
Great video! After several years, I will visit Liberia soon to support an aquaculture project so it's great to see how things are now. It's the real Africa!
Beautiful Africa. I’m always looking forward to the next episode. Thanks for sharing your amazing journey!!!
a rainy trek through a jungle teeming with life and a tiny cabin by a roaring river. heaven.
Thank you for the Liberia adventure. I worked in Liberia over 33 years ago as an exploration geologist. It was challenging work, but many enjoyable moments. Sadly had to leave due to the civil war. Glad I survived as many Liberian friends did not survive.
So sorry for your loss of long term friends. I spent many years in PNG and had great times and friends to share them...back “home” now it’s a history no one can possibly understand. One day this earth will completely change back to what it was created for and we can be with true friends again.....
I am amazed at how verdant the Liberian countryside is. And how cute are the cabins in the park!

What an adventure Noraly, it's an amazing life you have made for yourself.
Well done escaping Monrovian traffic that would give chaos a bad name. Loving how strange it is to see only one person on a bike and not a whole family. The amount of stuff they can load on a car is like an olympic sport. Liberia is another amazing adventure , thank you Noraly.

Ik heb het vaker gezegd maar ik zeg het nog eens, ik heb enorm respect voor je en weer enorm bedankt dat je ons meeneemt en ons de wereld laat zien.
Insane episode! My respect for Noraly just keeps growing.
One thing I love about this channel is I get to see places I never would go, and the way Noraly tells the story of the locals makes me want to change my mind but I doubt it would ever turn out as wonderful for me as it does for her.
The aerial footage of green and brown summed up everything as to what you had to undergo....DOFF MY HAT TO YOU Noraly !
