Bafwethu, discipline is important in football. To the upcoming soccer stars, learn discipline now and avoid disappointments later. Respect your bodies, treat them well and they will serve you for a long time. Here's a fun fact: Had I been disciplined while I was still playing, I could have risen to a height that I can only imagine because I played good football, but my lack of discipline and poor lifestyle choices were my downfall. I've been called names, one that stood out is "sdakwa". I'm not proud of that, I can't change what happened but I can have an influence on the future generations and try to guide them to reach the best of their potential. I'm not saying you shouldn't have fun, however, I advise that you proceed with caution, don't be pressured on doing activities that might lead you to compromise your football talent.
