Something that doesn't get talked about enough of the complexity and beauty of their vocals. The way the girls arrange the vocals between them, and the way that they harmonize is mesmerizing and magical.
Dont know much about them yet but it seems spme songs have a different lead singer. Is that so? Or is it more like sound editing/vocal range?
@@sportsboyjon Dany sings most of the songs, and Pau sings quite a few too. Ale doesn't sing lead often, but when she does, it's magic. The girls will often share singing lead in sections of the same song, and their harmonies are among the best.

Isn't it, at that? Much stronger than either of the Cave versions. I like that husky low register, shades of classic rock contraltos like Chrissie Hynde and Stevie Nicks. There aren't a lot of bands with three excellent singers.
And don't think we didn't notice Dany's mischievous little grin at the intro ...
Anyone else notice that Pau sings virtually this entire song in the background while annihilating those drums? Absolutely amazing.

Singing drummers always blow me away. Brann Dailor with Mastodon is otherworldly, a world class drummer and vocalist, and he makes it look easy.
@Nicholas Greenlee I`ve been in to Rock and Metal since the 80s and The Warning are the best Rock band i`ve seen in years.
I've noticed, and it's for many of their songs as well. She and the others are crazy talented!
@@mile_high_topher have a look at Rush’s cover band New world man, then. Guy’s singing some Geddy Lee while drumming some Neal Peart flawlessly for the whole show. I’ve seen them a few times live and it’s something. The whole band is awesome.
Seriously, Ale is one of the most dynamic bassists I've ever seen, usually bassist just stand there motionless...their synergy and energy is what you feel right away...
When they started she was fairly motionless, e.g., Enter Sandman cover when she was 9.
But things have moved on! 😀

Ale is gorgeous! her style and mojo are not from this world!
Her body movements are in time with the time signature of the song.. she feels it from within.. it's her body rythmn that moves one with the music... She must be preserved...
Also, I'm blown by Ale's voice in this song... Took me about half a dozen watches to realize she only sings a couple of verses in the entire song, but man! she absolutely nails them!

This sounds so good, even better than the studio version. I can hear the bass and their voices a lot clearer, and the guitar…superb! Congrats girls, you just can’t stop amazing me and your audience.

It's live and TW has always been better live than the recordings in my not so humble opinion, so I'm not surprised ;)
@@diosyntaxa For me, it depends on the song whether it sounds better live or recorded. Dust to Dust is way better live than the recorded version. Century blood is better recorded than live.

they definitely did some fixing in post but it's still a solid performance.
I couldn´t agree more. The NATURAL sound they have achieved is what makes this performance (the entire live session) feel so much better than any studio recording. Other musicians only dream of reaching that level.

Mano, lembro de ter visto vídeos dessas meninas uns 8 ou 9 anos atrás fazendo cover do Metallica e elas eram crianças. Hj tudo mulheres extremamente talentosas e eu me sentindo um velho AHAHAHA
The studio version is perfect, but The Warning live is the best thing in the world.
For my money, this blows the studio version away. The studio version is way overproduced. I mean it’s painfully obvious that they copied and pasted that little yodel on the end of every single time Dany sings the word ‘drown’, she only does it a couple of times here, and that’s perfect, that’s Dany, she’s not a a machine. And the layering pf guitars is way too much, Dany doesn’t need that. I own all their studio albums but rarely listen to them, I almost always watch live videos on YoUTube.
@@kenklein4783 this version also have extra guitar layers. I would say even the voice is playback. Something is off.. o.O

He llegado a la conclusión que los videos de The Warning hay que verlos al menos 4 veces, la primera para escuchar toooodo lo que hace Ale, la segunda, para escuchar todo lo que hace Pau, la tercera para ver a Dany y su doble cerebro que le permite cantar y tocar la guitarra (cada cosa por su lado) y la cuarta para escuchar el conjunto… bueno se recomienda verlos otras 10 veces o más para apreciar todo lo que están haciendo y apreciar realmente lo que es The Warning 🤘🤘

Lo de Dany es alucinante. Canta, toca la guitarra y anda pendiente de los pedales, es alucinante. En realidad, lo que hacen las 3 es de otro mundo.
Man, dices que Dany tiene un doble cerebro por tocar guitarra y cantar pero eso es muy común y natural. Dany es increíble, una super frontgirl pero la que realmente tiene un doble cerebro es Pau. Intenta seguir líneas rítmicas diferentes con cada una de tus extremidades (Ambas manos y pies) y además cantar. ¡Hahaha! Eso ya es de locos. Además que las líneas rítmicas de Pau son super complejas. Dany la mayor parte del tiempo está haciendo acordes de 5ta.

I don't speak Spanish so I'm not sure, but is nobody gonna mention Pau's backing vocals?! It sounds amazing!!
I noticed that she's singing the backing vocals while playing the majestic fill at the start of the second chorus. That really cannot be easy.
Not to mention, in those backing vocals she’s singing in unison with Dany, but an octave lower. And then in spots she’s singing the harmony above Dany. So she’s showing a very large vocal range here.

Choke sounds stunning. No matter how awesome The Warning sound in a music video, The Warning playing live sound even better. The energy’s off the scale and those vocals are so powerful.
If I had the right software I could sing into a toilet bowl and it will sound like a symphony. These chicks rock, but don't be oblivious to the magic. the lead singer is playing 5 guitars. That's why it sounds so full and orchestral. that being said I fucking love it.
BTW- let's give a shout out to their sound team. Always mixed beautifully!!

Estás chicas son realmente increíbles tomar el Rock de regreso en esta época dónde dominan otros géneros definitivamente el rock nunca muere.
Los otros géneros están dejando de dominar en el comercio, y el rock se abre espacio en latinoamerica, en Europa, en Nortemérica, y en Asia sin duda alguna 🧐🥂

So incredible, cant wait for the album release, seriously can't wait, give it to me now!!!. Pau may be a shorty but man she sounds like a giant behind the drums. Ale is just being mean to her sisters now with those platform shoes which is probably why the bass-line sounds like its from heaven. Dany's vocals and guitar work are just amazing and just gets better and better when it was fantastic before. I think the ceiling cannot be raised high enough, fast enough, to cope with these young ladies. Just awesome.

Like Flea in RHCP, Ale is the glue in the band. Brilliant how she fills up the gaps in a 4-instruments (drum - guitar - bass - voice) line-up, that's not easy. Dany as lead singer on guitar and Pau on drums are amazing, but Ale is out of this world. And I'm a guitar guy 😉. Respect 🤘. I hope to see you in Belgium soon.

I enjoy the current female drummers dropping in with skill, i suffered the 90s when music was good but if you were hot and could swing a stick for basic beats you were considered a "drummer"! You ladies are all doing an amazing job, absolute props to the drummette!

I’m old school when it comes to Metal (of course I’m 44 I was race with Twisted Sister, Ozzy, Megadeth, Testament, Sepultura, Carcas and many more) when it come to new bands I’m a little off cause in my opinion only few bands from today can match the old school bands quality of music but let me tell you something this band The Warning have all my respect and make me a fan, this 3 young girls are on point with there music ( I’m a little more into Alex on the bass cause I play bass too and my name is also Alex ) I love the bass line on all the songs and the drums are on point, the guitar riff are heavy but not over playing and the voices are really good, so far love the 2 albums ad the EP you girls rock, God bless you and keep rocking the world
