- Ever since I read Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln's 1982 "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail", Rennes-le-Château has always been on my 'got to visit' list - and last month, I finally got there. It did not disappoint.
The scenery is wonderful; the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene, the Villa Bethany & Saunière's gardens were everything I had expected & the Museum laid out the story in a very restrained manner.
Whatever you think of the Rennes-le-Château story and whatever you might believe, there is a mystery here that has not yet been fully followed up.
Now I just need to read "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail" again...

8.15 what's the purpose and rationale for leaving a skull in open view?
5th dimensional incision on the top of skull by the lights of lucifer is required for the transformation from an earthly being into a heavenly body. All were done in 2011 with a lot of headaches.
The skull was uncovered by Father Saunière in 1887, under the Carolingian Knights’ Stone, together with a pot of gold coins.
