I agree that xavier is in the meta, he has an insanely burst damage with his ulti and barrier stun. I prefer the second combo where you use ultimate then spam skills. E2MAX knows his adjustments well when he notices his lack of damage and cooldown so he finally gets into his game after he made the adjustment. When it comes to builds between yellyhaze and e2max. they are both great builds, so this is my opinion yellyhaze burst build is good if the enemy team composition are squishy like more on marksman damage dealer, in e2max build when enemy is hard to kill with burst, so spamming skill is more handy. It is rarely for xavier to be banned/pick in legend rank. But xavier has his counters as well backdoors specialty is xavier weakness so sprint was definitely the best against is, only use flicker if enemy team does not use too much blink in 10 seconds
I spammed Xavier when he's first released but lately i havent played him as often, so these are what i remembered trying: use his 2nd skill after recalling/respawning so you can get to lane a little faster w/ the mov spd bonus. You can use it to help yourself rotate faster too (if you have enchanted talisman so the CD is quick enough for war/skill combos, not recommended to do if you havent built it). Always use 2nd skill in a bush/to get vision if the enemy (especially jungler/any burst heroes) is missing. Oh, and if you need to escape, place skill 2 to where you're going and use skill 1 to immobilize the enemy for a better chance to escape safely. You should also try to do this for a teammate who's getting chased, just don't put yourself in danger too.
For his build, i prefer mystery shop for emblem, so my priority in early is to buy 2 mana necklaces, boots, then enchanted talisman, and the full cd reduction boots before going for a build like E2MAX's. If the enemies are tanky tho, i prefer yellyhaze's. And if there's an agile enemy core (lance, fanny, ling), i tend to build a def item early (steel legplate or even bruteforce), after talisman, though i know its not the best choice for optimized build. It'd just a precaution for myself who might forget abt good positioning 😅 anw thank you for the video & ga!
When playing xavier it's very recommended that you do the 1-2-3 combo for a fast combo cause there's a slight delay when using the 2-1-3 delay on him
Maganda si Xavier dahil kaya ma poke ang kalaban na nasa backline dahil sa 1st skill and 3rd skill niya tsaka nakaka disrupt ang kanyang immobilize kaso kung na out of position ka ay pwede ka pick off at mahina din si Xavier sa stuns.
From my experience in Xavier, I prefer using cooldown build and applying glowing wand for continuous damage. My play style is to annoy enemy by spamming skills and at the same time dealing damage. This hero really fit in my play style

Eyyy happy 50k! Tamang tama yung point sa itemization. Eto rin dahilan kaya di ko personally pinagsasabay sa isang hero yung enchanted talisman tsaka clock of destiny. Kasi early game items pareho tas mid laner ka pa kaya mas mahirap kumita ng pera hahaha. Kaya pag xavier, mas nagagamit ko yung may mana na emblem + magic shoes + book + lightning truncheon.
+ Lagi din alalahanin iutilize yung skill 1 kasi under the right circumstances, literal na malayo mararating hahaha di mo na kita sa mapa yung kalaban, tatamaan mo pa
Xavier is a great hero kasi hindi man halata pero great support siya hindi lang damage. May vision siya at speed boost. Additional na lang para sakin na sobrang sakit niya.
di ko nabili si xavier agad nung release niya pero nung may nakalane akong xavier, grabe ang annoying ng immobilize combo niya hahaha so i immediately bought him then my boyfriend suggested to play him as a roamer one time nagwork din naman.
sa build naman nakadepende rin sa kalaban and/or build nila. i go for burst build pag di ako ganon kaconfident sa damage output ng team namin. cd naman when i roam for vision na rin sa mga kakampi ko.
xavier is actually very versatile. need mo lang talaga masanay magcheck ng scoreboard and builds ng kalaban para maadjust mo build mo during the game.
- Engage aggresively so long as you have enough mana. Your cooldown will almost be nonexistent if you maintain the passive
- When ult is up, blind fire to enemy blue/red buff or turtle/lord, or enemy with hp below 50-40%, you can also support team, open passive, and engage wars easily from the other side of the map with this
- You have surperior range compared to most enemies. Use it wisely
For my experience using Xavier, I always prioritize COD and Lightning Truncheun, plus Impure rage emblem for burst. Anyway, we have different style of using this hero but burst damage is really helpful esp mm enemy.
Kahit wala nang COD ingat na lang sa positioning kung issue ang survibality. For me, CD shoes, Talisman, Lightning Truncheon para 45% CD, tapos Genius Wand, Glowing Wand, at Holy Crystal/Divine Glaive kung nakakalamang or Immortality/Winter Truncheon kung medyo defensive.
For fast activation on immobilization of your 2nd skill, you can do 1-2 combo instead of 2-1 since 2-1 combo takes a bit more time to activate compared to 1-2 combo, however you can't use this combo when the enemy is near or close to you, you can only use this when the enemy are far enough.
Ginamit ko si xavier biglaan sa rank dahil may katapat na cecilion. Nakalimutan ko na iba pang kalaban nun pero d ako maka-pick ng pharsa, yve, o kaya kagura kasi mababaon ako sa cc at baka d makapag-burst. Kaya ko naisip gamitin xavier kasi kaya niyang pumatay sa malayo na hindi pumapasok tapos hindi rin chanelling ult niya kaya hindi sobrang taas ng risk na ma-cancel lang. It depends on the situation on how will u build Xavier, if you're confident and your team lacks burst damage then go for the burst build for Xavier but to be safe try building Xavier with balance.
Isa pang build na pwede mong gawin para kay Xavier ay and Arcane Boots, Enchanted Talisman tapos Fleeting Time para sa 35% CDR. Tapos kukunin mo yung 10% na kulang mula sa Mage emblem na nagbibigay ng 5% kapag gamit mo Movement Speed para sa 1st row at isa pang 5% mula sa Magic potion, pero kung gusto mo kunin mo nalang yung buong 10% sa Mage emblem lang para makapag-spam ka ng skills ng mas maaga, kaso medyo mas mababa yung MS mo. Tapos nito Holy Crystal > Divine Glaive at may libre kang slot para def item o kaya naman antiheal kung kailangan.
Nagagamit ko ang xavier, ang ganda ng damage nya at pag nagfifirst ka nagkakaroon unli voilet skill. Lagi syang nahuhunt kaya kelangan mabilis ka magtapon ng skills.

I'm actually using the cooldown buld by Yellyhaze. I've always prioritized skill spamming and mana management when playing mages. Trust me, he has as much damage as the burst build, and also who doesn't want a global layla ULT every 16 seconds?
Xavier is definitely OP in low pubs, but his horrendous mobility is going to hold him back in high ranks, especially aganst assassin comps. It's always flicker or sprint for me. The team needs a solid frontliner with antidive mechanics (Kaja, Franco, Belerick) for Xavier to shine. A setter tank would be the perfect partner.
burst builds usually lack mobility too, while skill spamming allows you to get a bit more movement from glowing and genius wand

Sobrang OP nito gamitin dahil maganda ung combo ng mga skills niya at nagagamit ko rin ito sa rank game na mas mataas ung chance na manalo kami. Kahit saan ka sa mapa ay pwede mong gamitin ung ultimate niyang pangtulong sa mga kakampi.
While playing xavier which build to use is the most difficult part, for pro matches you can decide before, like you can go cooldown build, but in ranked it's really hard because you never know which players on enemy team are good. Most important tip is to always watch enemy item and build according
Thank you for this analysis kasi, sobrang nalilito din ako kung paano i-utilize yung build path ng items nya since iba’t iba yung utility ng skilss nya. 2nd build ni e2max ay maganda kung ang kalaban ay may heroes na madali kang i-target for sustain and yung kay haze ay maganda kung lagi ka lang nasa safe zone, naka-front or may kasama kang another support like estes, mathlida or rafaela.
Nung kaka release palang kay xavier binili ko agad syempre nilaro kosya agad ket dikopa alam gamitin at wala pang tips and tricks sakanya then nag sawa ako kay xavier dahil diko alam paano gamitin diko din alam item and emblem pati laning pero nung napanood kotong video nato nalaman kona kung paano gamitin si xavier at kung ano ang item and emblem maraming maraming salamat sa tuturials mo dami ko natutunan❤
Sa pag gamit ko ng xavier naranasan ko na din mamili kung anong build yung gagamitin ko in sintutional picking lalo na kapag malaks yung kalaban sa early syempre makikipag sabayan kami para di kami matalo kaya naman ngayon na alam ko ns yung build na susundin tapos kung para saan tong build mas mababalance ko yung pag gamit ng xavier:)
Ginagamit ko si xavier sa rank kapag nakita ko na maraming dash hero ang kalaban, at yung gamit ko na build is yung cool down build. Napaka helpful nya kapag teamfight lalo na kung naka free hit ka lang.
I like Xavier versatility, he can be the roamer, gold laner or the most common as mid laner. He is also good in clearing lanes because of his first skill that reach up to 5 enemies. His range is i think the most op of him because he can just stay at the back, while attacking enemies.
When Xavier came out I immediately bought him and I had A LOT of fun playing him that I got addicted to playing ML again. I reached expert in 3 days and learned how to use the instant immobilize combo (Skill 1 before Skill 2 quickly). I also found out on my own the trick where you get stacks from the Lord/Turtle.
Btw I just had a feeling of deja vu while watching this. Have I seen this before?

Salamat sa new tips tungkol sa build path ni Xavier mga lods. Ako as a soloq tas mage/support user maganda nmn gamitin si Xavier pero medyo di ko parin mautilize ng maayus skills nya lalo na kung malikot kalaban. At tips ko lng if wala kang stacks sa passive mo at wala kang natatamaang hero punta ka lng sa lord/turtle at tamaan mo ng skill 2 at 1 para maka full stacks ka ng mabilis.

Si Xavier ang isa sa pinaka-flexible na mage sa current meta. Kagaya ng sabi ni MPL caster Uomi, mataas ang chance na maging artillery mage si Xavier tulad ni Pharsa at Yve last meta. Malaking factor dito ang fast cooldown at multipurpose skills nya, pwede mo gamitin ang ultimate mo pangsecure ng kill, pang-support sa clash at pwede rin pang-minion clear. It all falls down nalang talaga sa build mo, either Clock of Destiny (Damage Build) or Enchanted Talisman (Cool-down build) ang magiging first item mo.
Take note, na more effective ang Xavier kung may peel kayo or tank sa clash at mga engagements. Dahil matinding counter pick kay Xavier ang Natalia, suggested na mag-aegis kung may katapat kang Natalia lalo na kung di mabilis ang rotation ng core at tank nyo.
I go for the burst build with Impure Rage on emblem talent. As for spells I prefer flameshot and mostly flicker. I have seen people using purify too. Well Xavier takes some time to come online. I like his Ultimate and his transcendence mode where you can use his skills one more time before going into cooldown. But one has to mindful of the fact the transcendence has some mechanics to it. Be mindful of the bar above your character Xavier.

Tip ko lang pag gumagamit ng Xavier lalo na kung burst build is laging unahin yung mm or mage ng kalaban. Kahit ss lang tumama malaki na kaagad ang bawas. Maganda 'to gawin kapag sa clash or before magtake ng objectives para either mapaparecall kaagad sila at hindi makapag contest or ipilit nila at mas madali sila mapatay ng kampi mo.
Maganda talaga si Xavier now napaka op ng hero na yan plus pag optimize pa yung pag build tunay ngang mastery over META. shout out lods nice vid.
I prefer using Clock of destiny and lightning truncheon over enchanted talismen when im up againts squishy heroes but when the enemey lineup contains tanky heroes I tend to go for enchanted talismen so that I can spam my skills to lower the enemies hp where at some point I can kill them or my allies can kill them . Sobrang OP ni xavier lalo na pag late game because he can be played as a suport kase isa sa specialities niya is guard, 45 cd is perfect for giving
vission and having unlimited ultimate pero mahihirapan siya kung wala kayong cc para sa multi dash enemies or mga divers.
Nung tinry ko sya tas puro pusher kalaban nmin both teams sira na mga turrets hanggang sa ako nlng naiwan sa team namin may Lord pa kalaban. I didn't expect na ma def ko base namin kasi ang sakit ng mga skills nya lalo na ultimate tas tag 2secs lng yung CD ng first skill during transcendence state. Halos di makalapit kalaban kase tumataas range ng first skill plus CC sa second skill and more dmg due to passive.
mas go to na build for gameplay ko is yung cooldown build, for spamming skills. not just for ks :) pero for assisting team sa clashes, or faraway skirmishes using ulti. sprint for battle spell. great analysis btw :)

i think you can remove the CoD for fleeting time para kahit papano, yung itemization mo pwede kang mag utility mage or burst type mage... for example... Arcane boots, Enchanted, Lightning Truncheon, Fleeting Time, Ice Queen Wand/Holy crystal, and Divine glaive or Bloodwings. Sa item na yan, mas may damage kana sa early dahil sa boots mo. Hindi early game potential hero si xavier pero sa build na ya, sa 8 minute mark pwede ka na maka kill dahil sa arcane, enchanted and lightning... I suggest na sa early maximize yung combo niya na first+second skill sa mga clashes sa early para mamaximize mo yung support and utility niya sa early.
Binili ko si Xavier nung unang labas nya pero tinigil ko din kagad pag gamit dahil na guguluhan pa ko sa tamang build, pero after ko mapanood tong video na gagamitin ko na ulit sya.

Nag iispam ako now ng xavier. Usually naka Burst type ako. Pero may na encounter ako na isang game na puro matitigas kalaban namin. Ngshuffle ako ng Items. Iwan ang COD as main item. Then mga prio ko is ung Book and ung ice queen wand. Then magic penetration, macig penalty and ung green. Nanalo kame kasi spam and slow na ang kalaban. D na makapalag.

Kung kailangan ng cc yung team comp niyo, mas okay yung cd build para sa 2nd 1st / 1st 2nd skill combo niya. Kung damage naman ang kailangan, burst damage yung build. Nagiging Utility/Poke Mage siya dahil sa cd build at Burst/KS Mage siya sa dahil sa burst build.
unexpected yung damage ni xavier sa 12 min mark lalo na kapag cod l.truncheon build. Kapag aggro yung kalaban, masarap makapagstun ng marami tas ultra burst solid xavier!!

50 matches with xavier ,ang masasabi ko lang ay napaka flex nito when it comes sa build path depende sa composition ng team nyo, for example maganda mag burst build kung ikaw lang mismo yung main magic damage, pangalawa is yung poke build, maganda to kung may isa pa kayong magic damage dealer, saka ito pa di ko alam kung bug ba to or feature ni xavier; yung passive nya na transcendence ang alam ko di ba sa hero lang gumagana, pero kapag nag skills ka sa turtle or Lord nag po proc yung passive nya, maganda to I abuse lalo na pag pre clash. I tried Xavier roam noon since walang gustong mag roam and nakapick na kami lahat. Sobrang ganda nya against dive compositions kasi easy punish ung first and second skill combo nya. Although bitin ka sa damage as a roamer, ang goal mo lang is to provide cc and vision through his skills. Short lang ang cooldowns ng kanyang skills kaya ez spam basta may enchaned talisman ka.
For a Xavier mid lane, I prefer ung build na ginawa ni yellyhaze since tingin ko hindi naman talaga pang kill na mage si xaiver and more on the support side and provide cc and vision naman sya. I think he is a good counter against gloo, popol and kupa, and dive assassins like helcurt, lancelot, and ling.

Tips ko for Xavier is wag agad mag-ulti if di naman necessary. Nirereset kasi ng ulti niya yung passive niya so I recommend saving it kung sakaling tumagal yung clash

Maganda gamitin Xavier dahil sa super high damage niya mid-late game. Kinatatakutan na nga siya kaya nababan siya minsan. Sa experience ko naka one hit pa ako gamit si Xavier dahil sa burst build niya. Pero maganda rin kapag cooldown reduction build rin para kaya mo ipam skills niya kasama na ang ult. Dahil sa 2nd skill niya kaya niya immobilize ang kalaban, dahil jan kaya mo sila ipoke o iburst gamit skills niya. Dahil sa pagtaas ng tank meta, minsan hindi mo na siya makikita linalaro dahil sa depensa ng kalaban. Pero kaya mo icounter sila sa pagbuo ng magic penetration items o magsupport build ka para ipoke mo sila at ang kampi mo aatake.
Hindi man ako gumagamit ng Xavier pero may respeto parin ako sa hero na ito dahil sa damage na binibigay Niya at nakaka annoying din yung second skill niya, thanks sa idea, Sana po sa susunod na video pwede po bang lagyan mo ng pwedeng pang counter build or mas magandang build na gamitin pag may Kalaban kang Xavier

I've never played Xavier but have seen/played with people who use him. As a tip, if the enemy is too far, but your team is chasing, cast your 2nd skill for that extra movements speed. I main tank because it's easier, and with Xavier 2nd skill, I can get my team more kills because of the extra movement speed.

Maganda yung build optimization ni yellyhaze sa xavier napaka effective madaling ma iispam ang skills nya kasama yung genius wand mayroon na syang decent damage. Di ko inexpect na magamit sya sa pro scene dahil sa wala syang laban kapag nalapitan kaya naman ng makitabko ito sa mpl try ko agad ito sa rank at napaka effective.
Yung ulti ni xavier in 2 situations ko ginagamit. Pang last hit sa cross map o kaya pang start ng clash para makapagspam ng skills habang nagcclash. Pero mas ginagawa ko ung una ulti para ma spam ko agad skills kasi usually uunahin ka sa clash para magamit agad ung skills pangCC sa kalaban.
