    I use a small ONA bag (Bond Street, I think) absolutely bomb proof. It will hold an M camera (with lens) plus two others and other small stuff in front pocket. Typically I carry M240 with 21mm Elmarit on the camera and a 50mm or 35mm depending how I feel. I could take all three but have never needed them all at one time so don’t bother. On the very rare occasion when I have my 90mm Elmar I will carry an EVF for easy focussing. If taking out the M2, I will have 40mm Leica C on the camera plus 21mm f4 Color Skopar and spare film. That makes a very light kit to carry.

      I love being able to carry a small bag, but have everything I ever need.. tbh what I showed here was when I'm on a "job" and need everything at my disposal, sometimes I will just have the M-E with the 50mm and the 21mm and that will be it. All depends what I'm doing and what I want to achieve.

      @@SebastianOakley Oh, walking around I just have the camera on a rope wrist strap tucked away.

      @@Nick_r same, but rather than a wrist strap just a neck strap :)

      @@SebastianOakley I’ve never taken to neck straps, no real reason apart from slicker for quick shots but that’s all.

    Hi, nice setup! How's the 21mm for landscape?

      Thank you the comment, I've used the 21 for street mostly, but I've also used it as a "capture it all" lens while walking around. For still life and landscapes this lens is really good, even surprised me, it delivers really good tonality and sharpness for the price!

    So you have to calibrate those Ttartisans lenses? Trying to decide on a used M body or get a pixii camera

    • @SebastianOakley
      @SebastianOakley  Před 9 měsíci

      Yes, you have to calibrate them to your M camera, but once you do they are amazing lenses for the money! - honestly I would always go for a used M body over the Pixii - Leica will always hold the value and of anything we're to go wrong it has a great support structure in place.

      @@SebastianOakley I’m seeing that now used pixii camera that are even current model not selling for 1500 less on eBay.

      Then in my opinion, that should tell you something.... I honestly don't think they have the build quality over Leica.
      Yes, Leica camera used or new are more expensive, but they hold their value very well.. in fact some even increase. If it was me, I'd choose a Leica

      @@SebastianOakley thank you for your wisdom. I’d like to use the same mount for digital and film. I have been looking at Leica too just not sure the entry point yet.
